First of all, I have seen threads rejected where banned people lose all there pokes and other people get them. I'm not suggesting that, I'm suggesting that under player discretion, they will be able to release a pokemon by their own choice. All released Pokémon would go to a place called care house. Over here all released Pokémon (except eggs, you get them from tall grass.) come here. You can adopt a maximum of one pokemon a day. You will have further buy adopt cards to adopt more Pokémon. Each card is valid for only one Pokémon. Each adopt card is 1000 PD.
If a certain Pokémon isn't adopted for 5 days, it will be permanently deleted from the server.

Edit:
Quote from Mrninja how about a limit to how much pokemon we can set up to adoption? Such as you can set up a pokemon to adoption every day, that way the servers won't be filled and you'll be able to set up 5 pokemon for adoption till they get released.

Is this for all users or only permanently locked users to release their Pokémon to? If the latter, how would they give discretion if they’re locked?

I don't know why you have to mention blocked users as it's irrelevant of what your talking about.

But yes, a carehouse that depends on player discretion (had to look up the word, could've just said choice XD) would be a cool idea. I've usually had to wait to release a pokemon such as Hoopa, since if it's precious I don't want to simply release it, but making these pokemon able to go to a carehouse would be a cool idea rather than saying, "free don't forget a trash poke!". Of course people could spam caterpies in the carehouse which would be annoying (*cough cough, Pokefarm) so how about a limit to how much pokemon we can set up to adoption? Such as you can set up a pokemon to adoption every day, that way the servers won't be filled and you'll be able to set up 5 pokemon for adoption till they get released.

People often think the PH sprites are bland. Do they shade? Well, yes they do. You'll be surprised how much care is taken for these sprites.

I like the idea, just think that one Pokemon a Day is a little less. I hate releasing my Pokemon and i think this Would be a great alternative.

Though this isn't a VERY original idea *cough cough pokefarm q cough* I'd love an alternative to releasing pokemon, as my boxes can get really cluttered with pokemon i won't need.

New layout coming soon.

@4everBlackeyed, true, but I don't want this to be like pokefarm's shelter, there it's always filled with magikarps, caterpies, weedle. Imagine how great it would be if people cared a lot of what they were going to released as they have a limit for 1 per day? Now of course someone could easily take everyone's shelter pokemon as the price is only 1000PD which needs a buff, but it could easily be filled with kyurems, fiesta gardevoirs, druddigons, you do have a choice of putting something else here, but having a limit allows you to think while having server space. Maybe 10 pokemon day is a little better though? It just can't be infinite as there are a lot of users and shiny hunters here.

I would like to add that this suggestion has been suggested and rejected before.
The only thread I could find on mobile, however, was this one.

Hm, but if it's just rares/legendaries/events/special pokemon etc, then they wouldn't be special or rare anymore. They would be very easy to get. So I think the spam caterpies actually have a reason, making it less easy to find that special pokemon.. :P

Well 300 pokemon can't be super easy to find, of course you could spam caterpie's if you would like, because maybe some people want to hoard caterpie's ;p. there's totally not a hoarding badge or anything.

@Grande,And so what if it's been rejected before? I don't see why, it is not useful and it can easily be less time consuming than global trading and auction. Think about it. In the auction house you have to wait at least around 30 minutes for it to sell, and most of the time they don't even sell. In global trading you have to get a trash poke most of the time to trade pokemon you don't want to release. But here? You would be able to search around for the perfect pokemon you were looking without wasting PD (the first pokemon you adopt for the day), wasting huge amounts of time (auctions, and waiting for other people) I bet most shiny hunters don't even feel like selling their regular pokemon anymore ever if their special seeing as how long it takes just for someone to take one of their pokes. I literally know a person who is hoarding super shrooms as no one is taking them, so a shelter would be a wonderful way to distribute pokemon, and heck it wouldn't be an automatic dex completion as it was in PFQ.

Edit:Also, can someone find where it was originally rejected as I searched through all 32 pages and I couldn't even find the one that Grande gave, even though I know it is in the rejected thread.

So on Chicken Smoothie, they have a "pound" system where if a player is banned, or a player wants to donate pets to the pound, the pets go to a NPC profile called "Pound" then at random times a day, somewhere between 1-2 thousand of the pets are put up for adoption on a "first come first serve" sort of basis. You get to see 15 pets on your page and you must wait 30 seconds to get a new cluster of pets to look at. You can also only adopt once every 3 hours (though it use to be once every day). It is thrilling h cause you can get anything from a super rare pet or just a really common one.

Of course, this would need to be changed so that all of everyone's "trash" Pokémon don't just go over to a "Pound account" so maybe there could only be a specific amount of a Pokémon at a time, so like only somewhere between 20-100 of one type of Pokémon in the "pound thing" at a time?

I don't know, just a thought.
