Potential Hoopa Quest bug

sorry, if this was mentioned before.
Yesterday I got a Hoopa Quest and opened the different Page Links on different Tabs. On one Tab I had a ring that I collected, got back to the Lab and closed it. When I collected the next one on the next Tab and returned to the Lab, the counter was missing one ring. At least that's what it's feels like to me, I'm not sure if it's true or if it's a bug because I did the same thing twice shortly after one another ...
Is there a way to check, if there is really still a ring missing or if the counter just shows the wrong number? (If so, I haven't cancelled the quest yet, so you might be able to check it and tell me the result.)

If one of the rings was found on such a sub-page, it doesn't count as a sub-page and there's another ring hidden somewhere else.

As I said, it could be that I miscounted the clicks, but if it's really because of the Tab thing, I at least wanted to mention it.
Just re-checked the pages and found the missing ring. I miscounted, sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your help!
