Gemstones have powers. Nowadays, if you search it up on any hippie site, you're going to be showered by metaphysical properties. But, in the very beggining, gemstones did actually have actual powers. There are a group of gemstones known as beryls, who can come in many colors, and the first ever existing and the most purest specimens of them have powers. Actual powers.
Through out history, these beryls have been found and lost by humans. Whenever a human comes in contact with one, it turns into part of an accessory- wether it be a ring, earring, or anything else that fits the human, so that the human can comfortably wear it and use the unique elemental powers that each beryl has to offer. People have never been secretive of them in the older times, but now, they are not much more than a legend...or are they?

Goshenite/White Beryl - Gives the holder the ability
of controlling air. The holder will be able to push objects off
with enough force and even make a tornado if met in the perfect
conditions.
Red Beryl - Gives the holder the ability of making fire, fireballs and heat.
Morganite/Peach Beryl - Gives the holder the ability of turning their energy into projectiles. They are able to shoot and charge bright spheres that do more damage the bigger they are. They can also shoot lasers from spheres that they summon in their hands.
Heliodor/Yellow Beryl - Gives the holder the ability of generating and shooting electricity.
Emerald/Green Beryl - Gives the holder the ability of controlling nature. They can slowly make vegetation bigger and increase its length.
Aquamarine/Cyan Beryl - Gives the holder the ability of controlling water. The holder can slowly levitate water and shape it.
Maxixe/Blue Beryl - Gives the holder the ability of making ice. The holder is able of slowly freezing something or someone, and call also make ice paths or statues.

Appearance:Looks like Alain and wears full black.Hair is black and always messy.Eyes are black.He nevers feels cold even in the coldest of the situations before the he got the red beryl,when he getting it he is going to turn it into a bracelet and put it in his left hand coz he's a lefty.

Age: Sixteen
Beryl + Accessory: Morganite necklace. The morganite is teardrop-shaped with a slightly curved front and a flat back, set into a silver necklace with a bezel setting.
Appearence: Ashlyn is a taller than average girl with tanned skin earned from hours and hours of sunbathing. She has natural brown hair, blue eyes, and a duchess nose, which when combined with her round face suggests that she isn't of any one race in particular. She always wears conservative clothing, leaning towards flared pants, blouses, Oxford shirts and cardigans, occasionally a scarf. This wardrobe is impractical in summer, but she sticks with it. The only time she doesn't is during winter, when she favours long coats, scarves and sweaters to protect from the cold.
The beryl, when she gets it, will be mostly hidden by her clothing.
Personality: At a mere sixteen years of age, Ashlyn is a budding fashion designer. She is cheerful and bubbly, but watch out - she will turn mean and nasty whenever she feels the need to defend herself, or a friend. Her loyalty and generosity towards friends counteracts her rather scathing attitude to those she views as enemies. Ashlyn is easily the most fashion-savy of her friends, and often help them out with fashion advice if needed.
Other: You probably haven't seen me RP, but the above description is an example of my current level. (No, I don't always use fashion terms, I just find it easier to use them when making forms.)

Name: Joshua al-Raad (He prefers to be

Age: Fifteen
Beryl + Accessory: Emerald placed into a Ring Necklace.
Appearance: Joshua tries to look as sophisticated as possible, always keeping straight posture and avoids quick movements- Or moving gracefully. A lot of people think he dances ballet, the fact that he looks malnourished only supports this belief- But it isn't true (Though he certainly wouldn't mind if he had more time on his hands.)
He is quite short and its certainly noticeable- He learned to live with it.
Josh has curly hair (Like, Really Curly.) that falls on his shoulders, it has a habit of getting just about everywhere. Its dark brown but appears black unless you stand really close to him.
Joshua comes from a traditional Muslim Family but you wouldn't be able to figure that out by appearance or behavior- Well, His skin has a color of dark olive so maybe that's a small hint.
He always looks like he is heading to a Prom or some kind of important meeting as he always wears a simple white T-shirt with long sleeves and buttoned-up gray vest. (No, He doesn't wear the same clothes every day... He just has a lot of White T-Shirts and Gray Vests.).
Josh also has rimless glasses- He doesn't need them, his vision is perfectly fine.
Once he earns Emerald it will be set into a black ring (That looks like a wedding band. That fact makes him quite uncomfortable.) and takes on a rectangular shape. The ring is tied to a grey cotton rope with silver claps.
He always has his black messenger bag around where he has all of his notes- Don't touch it without his permission.

Other: He actually distanced himself a lot from his Muslim Roots... His Family is not happy about it but he doesn't plan on changing his mind anytime soon.
Joshua always wanted to be a Writer, he is currently working on a Novel which he plans to rewrite over and over again until it will be perfect and ready to publish. (At this point in time it only has around 200 pages, certainly not enough.)

Beryl + Accessory: Goshenite Glove, the gemstone is in the palm of the glove with an oval shape.
Appearance: Thomas is lanky, light-skinned, with ginger hair almost always hiding the front of his eyes. He has bright brown eyes, a snub nose, and slightly pointed ears. He wears a small variety of plaid jackets, he often wears his favorite blue plaid jacket accompanied by a white shirt, navy blue jeans and white slip-on shoes. He often doesn't worry about the heat though, surprisingly. His gemstone glove is black to contrast the Goshenite.
Personality: Thomas is very timid, this attitude is often known as his 'shell,' and never opens up to anyone not close to him. He feels at peace whenever he's around close friends, though. Otherwise, he never shows much emotion, and so he can be much of a wildcard at times. He rarely gets mad, as most of the time he gets angered, his anger almost always peters out, leaving him in an awkward situation
Other: (I was debating whether or not to make him blind, but I decided against it. Aaaaaand I've rarely roleplayed on Pokeheroes, but this above is my current level.)
