DRAMAtical Murder OVA: Data_xx_Transitory

So unfortunately I could not use DRAMAtical Murder as an item since I started it before New Years. On the bright side, I still had the morbid, messed up OVA, Data_xx_Transitory! While the anime does get a little dark, it does not involve any of the twistedness that are in the "bad endings" of the visual novel. Data_xx_Transitory is only the bad endings. So it's basically 24 minutes of loveable characters no longer being loveable and tormenting the main character, Aoba. Yay?

Gakkou no Kaidan - Ghost Stories

If anyone tells you the perfect English dub doesn't exist... kindly direct them to the English dub of Ghost Stories.
What was originally an unsuccessful, mildly-serious "horror" anime was sold to dubbers in America who were told to do what they wanted with it, as long as the character names and the methods of defeating the ghosts and demons were not changed. The result was a fourth-wall breaking parody of the original script. Momoko became a Jesus freak, Keiichiro was given an iconic laugh/cry, and everything became a lot more politically incorrect.
I recommend this anime to anyone who has a laid-back sense of humor and doesn't mind things that some may find offensive (cursing, racism, homophobia) - because it's played off as all in good fun.
9/10 - I laughed until I couldn't breathe

Kono Danshi, Uchuujin to Tatakaemasu. - This Boy Can Fight Aliens

So this is the third of the Kono Danshi series I have watched (the first being Crystallization and the second being Professional Wizard) and although I enjoyed it, it was not my favorite. I enjoyed the characters and the ending was sweet, but it was probably the most forgettable of the three so far. Part of this may be due to the fact I had a poor quality copy of it and was not able to appreciate the artwork as much.
This follows the pattern of the other Kono Danshi anime, with the boys-love not being overplayed and at least one of the characters suffering from some sort of insecurity which is resolved by the end. It is very relatable and deals with anxiety in a very accurate way.
The ending was very cute and I nearly teared up. I would definitely recommend watching this (though with a good quality download!)

The only "Music type" animes I was finding on MAL were music videos, so I found one that looked cute and watched it. It was entertaining but nothing too exciting. I liked the vocaloids' outfits.

The last of the Kono Danshi series I had left to watch. The art was just as amazing as the other three and the relationship between the boy and the merman was very sweet. I liked the different textures in the hair.
The issue this edition dealt with was loneliness. The main character realized that it's okay to let people know you are sad or lonely. The relationship between the two characters was also shown as healthy. I would definitely watch this again.

Hetalia World Series

Hetalia World Series had moments that cracked me up, though it may have had a slower pacing than Hetalia Axis Powers. I really enjoyed the addition of Nekotalia, which didn't quite replace Chibitalia since those scenes were still in it a bit. It was definitely worth the watch and I will continue with the next seasons.
