Hello!

Not sure if this has already been stated or not, can't search because I'm on my phone. So, I apologize if it has been.

Anyway, what I've noticed with the Raylong Quest is during part 5...

In order to survive hard times, you need a reliable partner.
Hatch an egg and train it to Level 100.

...it doesn't end up counting eggs hatched from the Bug Hatching Contest.
I've hatched Retros, Vouchers, Rumble Eggs, Game Center Eggs, etc. for these quests, so I know it doesn't have to be an egg towards your chain. I've hatched 3 different BHC eggs to make sure I'm absolutely positive it doesn't count it.

Anyone know why it doesn't count BHC eggs? Is this a bug [ha] or deliberate?

Code-wise, I can't see anything that might cause this. Has anyone else experiences this?

For an egg/Pokemon to count for the Raylong task, it need to have you as their OT (which is true for BHC eggs) and it needs to be hatched after you've received the respective task from the Raylong task. Don't see why this would be false for BHC eggs either.

Remember that the quest shows you the currently best qualifying Pokemon you've got, which is based on the lowest amount of experience points still needed to reach level 100. It doesn't necessarily show the Pokemon with the highest level, as some Pokemon level up quicker than others.

I will move this back to the unconfirmed section for now.

I don't know how or why this was in confirmed, because I just tested it and the Illumise in my party (from the BHC) is the 'pokémon to evolve'


Not a bug, your BHC-pokémon jus wasn't the quickest leveler.
