Perhaps it's me who hasn't really used the salon too often, but is that the main reason why i can't select the option to give the new permament haircut to furfrou?

If you're getting this message, you're probably trying to get a Furfrou permanently styled even though its fur hasn't been trimmed yet. You can't do both in one go. Trim first, making it permanent second (on the next day).

I did trim it through the special cut- does it not count like a cut though? :0

Sooo. What exactly do you do, before receiving the message?
Like, you go to the Furfrou section of the Salon, scroll down to the "Permanent haircut" part, and then you proceed to pick a Furfrou - one, that already has received a trim, yes? - from your boxes, and then you get the "invalid service" message. Did I understand this right?

Yep! That´s pretty much what´s going on!
I can be sure that the furfrou i´m giving it had the special cut done, and the fact i only have two furfrous- the shiny one in my party and the one in the showcase box. (´v ´

I'm not sure if this is relevant, but do you have all cuts unlocked?
[Also, the Furfrou in your Showcase box currently has no special trim, so it has no haircut to make permanent ^^']

I did the trim on the same day it was released, so i think the trims only stay for a few days..? I don´t remember! (´v ´


I don´t, so that was the question coming from, would i need to have them all unlocked?

And i´m getting that i´m going to sound pretty n00b-y, but would it be 100% necessary to have the cut in order to make it permanent?:0

Yeah, trims only stay a few days, otherwise the 'permanent' option is a waste of PD and time ^^'

If you managed to give it the Santa temp-cut before, I'm guessing not. If you tried but never succeeded, that might be an additional reason.

And, yes, it is 100% necessary to give it a temp-cut, in order to make it permanent. Otherwise, you'd be trying to make the default [normal] cut a permanent one ^^'
