I wake up in the middle of a forest, not knowing where I am, or what happened to me. There is a husky puppy sleeping in a bag next to me, which I think belongs to me. I look around, then stand up and grab my bag with Juno, the huskey, inside. I start walking.

I made my way to the Academy but on the way there I noticed a young girl walking... I decided to fly down and introduce myself. "BloodJaw, we will land near that human walking and her luggage... let us go!"

I sat in his tree house opening his eyes, Kitsune
(kit-soon) and Zorro (Zor-o) we're snuggled next to me, their white soft fur made I sneezed which woke them.

"It's school today." I complained.

"Ya, that sucks." Said Kitsune.

"Start packing." Said Zorro.

"Fiiiiine." I groaned.

I put my belongings in a bag I had and put it all on my back. I grabbed his scythes and axes, as well a my permit to have weapons at school. I am on the security committee for my classes.

"Guys, can I ride on one of you to school, Kitsune?"

"Fine." Kitsune replied reluctantly, he only allowed me and other certain people to ride on him. Zorro and Kitsune jumped out of the treehouse, then grew to the size of a lion and Kitsune let me get on and we ran to the direction of the school.

I look up and see a boy that looks about my age. I shrug and keep walking, not caring what other people are doing.

BloodJaw and I land in front of the human girl. She was beautiful but that wasnt as important as making a new friend. "Hello, I said,"My name is Anubis and my dragon is named BloodJaw. We are heading to Soul Academy and I wondered if you would be my friend."

My walk was pretty uneventful at first, Ilfir weaving in between my legs as I walked. The big city that I had known as my "home" for the past 6 years started to fall away as I entered the forest beyond. The trees branched out above me and sunlight streamed through cracks in the leaves and branches, warming my cold, pale skin. I pulled my jacket around myself tighter and kept walking, Ilfir now walking alongside me, licking his paws and his tail moving up and down, side to side. I stopped for a moment to kneel and rub his warm fur. I handed him a small bottle containing a small, wispy liquid inside. I opened it, and the Shadow Essence drifted into the air, Ilfir snatching it up and greedily stuffing it into his mouth. I chuckled a bit. Every night I would go do something called "Shadow Hunting." I would use my Shadow Magic to extract certain parts of the shadows that lurked in the city and would bottle it up for Ilfir to eat. He was known as a Shadowline, a feline that can only live off of the shadows. That's what made me and him perfect for each other. I smiled and continued my pace toward Soul Academy.

I stare at him for a second in shock, then shrug. "Sure, I might as well. Hang on a sec." I turn around and look at the person controlling me for the roleplay. "Seriously? You're making me be friends with this dude? Ugh, fine. Whatever." I begin to get a migraine as I turn around to look back at Anubis. "Sorry if I snap at you. I sometimes get really bad migraines, and they make me cranky." My migraine gets worse. "So, you're going to an academy?"

I woke up in my bed in my small room. "Argh," I groaned as I rose from the bed. A sudden realization came to me as I remembered that today was my first day at Soul Academy! "YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I screamed as I jolted up from my bed and went to me dresser making sure I had everything I needed, got dressed and then went out to the kitchen to get breakfast. Harumi winced at my loudness. "Ah sorry Harumi," I said gingerly rubbing the back of my head in embarrassment. "Morning Dad!" I said to him with a happy smile on my face still a little red. "Morning dear!" he said to me cooking bacon on the stove. "What are we having today......WAIT SHOULDNT I BE COOKING, UHH YOU NEED YOUR REST LET ME DO IT!," I panicked as I made father sit down. I made sure that I gave Harumi some fresh fruit before I kept cooking. "You look just like your mother...." he said in a sad tone. "I know I wish she was here to see me..." I say looking out the window. I make sure to keep an eye on the food and soon enough we ate breakfast and my dad walked me to Soul Academy where he said "Bye and have a good day honey" to me as I hugged him good bye he was crying as we said our "byes for now". Harumi is enjoyed as she flew around in the air as she also needed to take in air to used as magic. As I walked towards the Entrance with Harumi at my side I see a boy around my age with a weird shadowy animal thing? 'Huh what is that thing? I thought as I went up to the boy and tapped him on the shoulder. "Uh Hi! My name is Rosaline what's yours?" I ask cheerfully.

"I'm going to Soul Academy, the prestigious one, and I'm starting my freshmen year though I'm supposed to be a junior... I am dragon kin and my family name... Dragonkind, descendant of the Alexander Dragonkind that fought in the great ninja war." I said." We should go to the academy now... jump on BloodJaw and we can fly there."

I am doubling over with pain from the migraine by now, my hands on my head. "Do you have any pain medication...?" I barely get out the words before I groan from pain.

"Yeah, I always fly with pain meds in case BloodJaw cuts me too deep." I reach my hand into my pocket and grab the medicine. "Here!" I hand her the medicine. "Whats's your name?"

I quickly swallow the medication and the migraine starts to go away. "I'm Aria. Also, thanks for the pain meds."

I gathered the last of my items and shoved them into my large backpack before putting it on. I looked over at Knight. "Showtime Knight." I mused to him as I picked him up and placed him on my head. I exited my house and walked up the long winding road to the academy. "Soul Academy. One of the best academies in the world or so people say." I tell myself as I walk up to the large iron gates at the front of the building. "Not a bad style," I mumble to myself before noticing a group of three other people. I wonder? I thought to myself before quietly walking up to them. "Excuse me?" I say quietly when I thought they were within hearing distance. "Are you new to the academy too?"

I sprout my wings again and begin flying. Aria and BloodJaw soon follow me. I lead them to the Academy and we land at the entrance. There is another human girl and a human boy with a shadowy monster. "Yo! Wassup? I lean in for a fist bump with the guy and a high-five with the girl but the girl leaves me hanging. "What's your names?"

I looked at the girl who had just talked to me. "Um, hi? Rosaline was it? I'm uh, Lucas. This right there is Ilfir." I pointed at Ilfir who had looked up at Rosaline and snarled quietly. "I use, uh, Shadow Magic. What do you do? Are you heading to Soul Academy too?"

At some point during out journey, I wake up. Artemis stopped, staring at something in the distance. I get off of his back and he begins to walk away from me. "Hey Arty, where are you going?", I called out to the polar bear but he just kept walking. I found myself following the strange bear, following him into some bushes. After a few minutes, we stumbled upon Soul Academy. "ARTEMIS YOU BEAUTIFUL BEAR! WE MADE IT!!", I yelled as I wrapped my arms around his neck. Artemis then decided to lick my face and transform back into a cub. He jumped into my arms and we continued walking. I decided that we should go to the main office so I could get my dorm key. "Hi my name is Misaki Haruno, I came to get my dorm key", I said to the lady at the desk. "Welcome to Soul Academy Ms. Haruno, your dorm number is 504. Here is your key, you will also have two roommates named Rosaline Heart and Ophelia Heartwall", she gave me the key and I forgot to ask for directions so we wandered for a bit. Eventually we found the dorms, "Ok Arty! This is our new home, be on your best behavior!" The small cub in my arms simply nodded, we walked through the halls of the Girl's Wing. "500.. 503... Ah! 504 we made it!", Artemis hopped out of my arms so I could unlock the door. As I opened the door, all I could think about was my new roommates. "I hope we'll be good friends", I said quietly.

Now there was a boy too?! Oh wait, I had already arrived at the academy?! The boy had offered his fist to me so I bumped it with my own. He had asked for my name. "Uh- I'm Lucas...." I was a bit overwhelmed with two almost complete strangers standing on either side of me. Ilfir hissed and I kicked his underbelly softly and sneakily.

"Uh hi" I say sort of lost. "Oh I'm sorry! My name is Rosaline!" I quickly say high-fiving the other boy's hand. Harumi went hostile on everyone around me growling at anyone who came near me. "Harumi don't hurt them!" I tell her. I turn back to the boy whose name was Lucas. "Hi and I uh use flower magic I say growing a rose out of my hand, and I am heading to Soul Academy!"
