New Bark Town / Route 29

JOURNAL ENTRY
Today is my first day as a REAL Pokémon trainer! I already have a Pokémon, Cassidy, but now that I'm allowed to go on a journey I'm a REAL Pokémon trainer. I know she's definitely excited for this; Cas almost burnt the house down 4 times this morning. Mom's concerned that I'm leaving, but I have Cas with me so I'm fine. Now I just got to head to Professor Elm's place and I'll be able to start my Pokémon Journey!

I was heading to the lab and I saw a handsome cool rude boy staring at the window. He was wearing a hood, but his bright red hair still managed to stick out. I was trying to be nice and introduce myself, but he fricken pushed me to the ground! His loss then. Anyways I went to the lab and instead of letting me go on my adventure, Prof. Elm gave me ANOTHER errand. He promised this would be the last one; hopefully he keeps his promise.

On the way, I started battling even though Prof. Elm advised against it. Cas leveled up a bunch and learned smokescreen!

Cherrygrove City / Route 30

JOURNAL ENTRY
When I got to Cherrygrove, some old man gave me a tour. They have a real Pokémon Center and PokéMart, so that's cool. I mainly continued to train Cas around the routes.

When I got to Mr. Pokémon's house, Professor Oak from Kanto was there. THE PROFESSOR OAK. I got the egg for Prof. Elm and Professor Oak gave me a real PokéDex! As I left, I got a disturbing call from Prof. Elm, telling me to come back quickly.

As I was heading to Route 29, the red haired rude kid from earlier bumped into me. When I told him to say sorry, he challenged me to a fight. I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT, HE CHALLENGE ME TO A FIGHT. He had Toto from the lab, which scares me. I beat him, then he started to run away. As he did, he turned band yelled "MY NAME IS POPPY AND I WILL DEFEAT YOU!!" Then he ran out of sight. Who name's their son fricken Poppy? I continued to run to Prof. Elm's lab.

JOURNAL ENTRY
I finally made it to the Lab, where it turns out Prof. Elm had been robbed; Toto was taken as well. The police described that kid to me, Poppy. I told them everything I knew about him, which seemed to make the police laugh a little. They then left.

I gave Prof. Elm the egg and told him about Professor Oak, both making him almost have a heart attack. He told me that I can finally go on my adventure. I stopped by home to say goodbye to my mom. With Cas by my side, I walked out of town, beginning my journey.

JOURNAL ENTRY
As I walked onto Route 29, Cas ran to a bush. When I got there, she was hugging a poor rattata to death. She refused to stop hugging the rattata, so the only way I could free her was catching her. Thus, Violet joined our team. She seems to be completely terrified of Cas, refusing to walk on the ground with her, and instead resting on my shoulder.

We then started to head to Route 30, and I just bought Pokéballs when a weedle drops down from a tree, accidentally hits the Pokéball's button, and gets caught. So now we have a new party member. I named him William, which he seems to like. He and Violet seem to get along, though I'm scared to leave him with Cas.

JOURNAL ENTRY
We've been training for a few days. Cas and Violet have been taking on a lot of trainers, while Will keeps sleeping. He seemed so ready to take on trainers before. Violet is the opposite, she's starting to get the hang of battling, becoming more and more excited for each battle.

Route 31 / Dark Cave / Violet City

JOURNAL ENTRY
As we headed to Violet City we ran into two battling Pokémon, who were extremely injured. With some help from Cas and Violet, we carried them to the Pokémon Center. Afterwards, the geodude let me catch her and I named her Crystal. The bellsprout didn't want to be caught, but continued to follow me as we left the PokéCenter.

I spent a little bit of time in town. Apparently there's a gym, tower, and school here. I'll definitely head to the gym after training with everyone. There's also ruins south of town, but I have to focus on training and the gym first.

JOURNAL ENTRY
Crystal and Violet have been training hard for a while now. Cas has cheering them on till she got tired and fell asleep on my lap. William watched them battle for a little bit, then headed back into his PokéBall. The bellsprout, who I've been calling Bella, has still been stalking us, hiding behind bushes and trees.
