Ivan flinched. "Ah, well, um, what can I say? You don't always get
someone with hydrokinesys." That was a bad thing to say. Although
she could have been amazed by his water powers or something- after
all, there wasn't many people in their...league-room, btu they
could have noticed his mini stalking thing. Atleast he tried,
right?
And then another one came along. With magical name reading. "Uh,
hi, person." He replied a bit nervously, after hearing them
talking. Other team?
Will gets up, and goes to the library. He goes to a section near
the back, and sits near the back. He starts reading the book he had
grabbed, a book about guns and their mechanics, and how to modify
them to improve accuracy, and firing speed. He overheard people
talking, but ignores them.
"You... what?" Drew said, immediately turning to Paisley with her
fists clenched, as if she was ready to strike. "And why would I
even- or wouldn't- trust you? I know as much about you as I know
about the chemical composition of the sun." Then she turned back to
Ivan. "You seem nervous."
Sanaki shook her head. "No, I was not. You didn't believe me?
That's.... disappointing. They could kill you next, y'know. Or me."
She said, a little louder than a whisper.
Will becomes half tempted to walk up to the people, and tell them
to be quiet because this is a library, a place for quiet reading.
He rethinks when he hears someone say something about killing, now
this, he could gain info from.
"Hm? Yeah, I know that more than anyone here," she replied. She put
the lid back on, placing it back on the shelf. "My skill's the
ability to withstand poisons," Lillian explained and sat down on
one of the tables.
Will finishes learning how to modify a pistol, silently puts the
book back on the shelf, and walks towards the door, hoping nobody
noticed him. He walks as quietly as possible, hoping it is enough
to keep people from noticing.
[magical name reading i'm dead. i assumed they'd been there for a
little bit & at least knew each other's names whoops]
Paisley glared at Drew and exhaled deeply, turning to Ivan. "Aren't
you the water boy that messed up my meditation today? I forgot.
Totally not over it but I'm definitely not gonna hold a grudge
about it for too long either." she blabbered. She then turned back
to Drew. "What I was trying to say -- is that I don't
like girls --" she started, stopping as her face froze with
confusion.
"Isn't the sun made up of like... hydrogen?" she asked
dumbfounded.
Mason nervously shushed Sanaki. "I'm not trying to be the next
'accidental' murder victim here. Could you keep it down?" he
whispered close to her face. He then, unintentionally, picked up on
a secretive-like emotion, quickly turning to see Will sneaking off.
"You reek of confidentiality."
Will realises they had noticed him, and his pace picks up from a
walk to a dash. 'Crap, I kinda didn't want know people, sort of' he
thinks as he sprints out the door and into the hallway, and through
the hallways, towards a side exit from the building.
Mason sighed loudly as Will practically ran off. "I would Astral
Project over to him but that requires too much focus..." he
complained lazily.
"That'd be kind of stalkerish too..." he concluded.
(I'd say Ivan came to the league around 2 days ago but didn't talk
to anyone, considering he is the one who placed the two goldfishes
in the lake
he probs got them from home or something)
"A- um." Ivan was bothered mostly about the comment about the sun.
It would be fun if it was made out of hydrogen, he could be able to
control it! Then again, hydrogen itself isn't water, only H2O. And
here we go again, with nerdy thoughts. It would be nerdy to correct
Person too.
"Astral projection?" Ivan looked over to them again. "What is
that?"
"Sorry. And then you have to listen to me. We need to infiltrate
them. Get your most trustworthy classmates, and the like. We're
going to stop them." Sanaki said, glancing at Will for a second
then turning back to Mason, her dark eyes very serious.
"Who ever said anything about you liking girls?" Drew asked, very
confused. "And I think so....?"
Will stops by a tree, and feels most of his energy gone, drained
from the long sprint. He leans against the tree, making sure he has
everything. He realises that one of the guns had fallen out in the
library, and was sitting in the floor.
"Anyway, i'm going to go now," Lillian said but had the instinct to
take that common poison back off the shelf. Why do I want to
take it? she asked herself before silently taking it off the
shelf and putting it in her bag, making sure it was tight and
secure before walking outside into the hall, watching Will pass by,
dashing.
(aww alright then. thank-o for being here for those 4-5 pages
friend!!)
Mason stared directly into Sanaki's eyes, attempting to fit all of
the puzzle pieces together and nodded though he hadn't the
slightest clue of what had been going on. He then turned to Ivan
and back at Sanaki. "We'll talk about this more later." he
whispered to her, then proceeded to answer Ivan's question.
"Well... it's one of my... skills? Basically I'm able to
project my consciousness into other places on the physical or
spiritual plane... but I don't really have much control over the
power right now... I just know that I can do it if I really
focus on it or if I feel the desperate need to be in two places at
once. Um... so far I've only been able to project on the physical
plane and when I do it I have a corporeal body that once it'd
harmed, it fades and my consciousness comes back to my body..." he
attempted to explain. "I could show you if you really want..." he
offered.
Paisley groaned. "You asked me if I was flirting with you in Combat
Class. And I decided now to answer you because I don't think I
was." she reminded Drew before turning attention to Mason and
noticing a pistol on the ground not too far from the library
entrance.
"That's a cool power." Sanaki said, her voice finally loud as she
tinkered with a small dark spiral in her hands that she created.
She stood next to Mason, waiting for that 'later' time.
Drew rolled her eyes. "You obviously were, but agree to disagree, I
guess?" She shrugged, turning around and seeing the pistol. She
quietly set the book back down before using her skill to float it
over to her.
(by the way, im going to constantly mix up the name Ivan and Cole,
but both names refer to the same water boi so yeah)
Cole had a small moment of amazeness right there. "Thats so cool!
Is your new body physical? Can others see it? Can it drown? What if
you get killed while doing it? Can you do it right now?!" he got
excited.
"If so, try to do it, uhm..." He looked around, and notice the
librarian. "Try to peek and see what the librarian is reading!" He
will problably regret this decision, considering the cover of the
book.
Will gets up a few seconds later, and leans against a wall. "Maybe
I shouldn't have ran so far, I'd need to eat a feast to regain that
much fat and energy" he mutters to himself before slowly walking
towards the cafeteria to get some food.
While walking forward to... who knows where she was just walking
without thinking, she saw Will again. "Weren't you just running
from people a few seconds ago?" she asked, tilting her head.
