"I do defensive, and how to fend off creatures without fighting. Maru teaches the actual fighting part. Mals' is the hardest, he teaches names, lore, everything you'll need to know about every creature you'll encounter." Eris replies, and Maru snorts. "Fitting for one of the monsters to teach them about monsters." She mutters, and Eris puts a hand on her shoulder. "Drop it, Mar."

Deliqua notices Carson's response, she stands up and walks over to him, looks him in the eyes with a smile and places her hand on his shoulder to calm him down, her eyes turn turquoise, before heading back to her corner she makes sure Carson is somewhat calmer, once she sits down she stops smiling and her eyes turn back to their normal color.

"If you're angry about it, don't bring it up with us. Mals is the one who's connected to the deals." Maru replies, and Eris squeezes her shoulder, glancing at her. "Maru, this is not the time to bring up all your anger at Mals. You know he tries his best, and not everything is his fault. Even if our current problems are related to him, they are not caused by him. There are things Mals can't change about himself, and your anger is making it harder to see the truth. You know he would change it if he could." He says quietly, his voice calming and slightly hushed, like he's saying a secret.

Oliver glanced at the others before softly saying, "It's kind of reasonable. If they let us go, we'd be eaten by those things Mals mentioned. They're trying to help us, you know? We can at least cooperate." He hummed softly, worried other would find his opinion stupid. His face flushed a bit, a light red color coming to his cheeks.

Maria nodded in agreement with the little red head, crossing her arms and looking around. She looked back to Maru and Eris, pushing some of her stray hair back behind her shoulder. She inhaled lightly, exhaling only a bit harder.

Carson calmed down after Deliqua touched his shoulder, though he didn't entirely back down. He took a deep breath to gather his thoughts, running his hand down his face. "I get that, and I appreciate your willingness to help us. What I don't appreciate is threatening to hand us over to people who want to kill us. That's different then letting us out on our own to fend for ourselves." He sighed again. "That said, I think all of us agree that we'll stay."
He glanced around the room for confirmation. He knew AJ would agree with him, but he wasn't entirely sure about the others.

Almost makes me wish Michael or Jax or someone would step up and take control." Maru replies, rolling her eyes. Eris sighs, running his hand along one of the murals, tracing what looks like a tiny signature. It's composed of odd symbols that vaguely resemble english letters, but it's so small and loopy, basically cursive, that it's almost unrecognizable as any sort of word. "I suppose a tour is in order?

Eris motions for them to follow, and heads off down the hall. "Lucifer designed the murals so they all give clues to what room you're headed towards. You will never find a room or hall in Base that does have one of his mosaics or paintings." He stops for a moment by a depiction of a graceful dog-like creature that looks like it's made entirely out of vines and flowers. It's snout and gaze is pointing down the corridor. "A Floewi represents the garden, and whichever way it's looking is the way to go. Not to mention each sign has one of these-" He taps another collection of curly, elegant symbols, a bit bigger than the signature from earlier, right by the painted creature's front paws. The collection faintly resembles the word 'garden', but just barely. "-and they're pretty easy to decipher."

Napoleon was dragging his hands across the wall, trying, and failing, to understand the symbols that had been placed down, it seems that he might as well just leave the deciphering to the experts. "Wait, what's a flowei?" He asked, unsure which one it was, and was pretty sure he would forget what it would mean either way. He looked back, it seemed almost as if he remembered something, "and what would happen if we escaped?" He asked, it seemed that this was important to him "and are we allowed to take breaks, and go out?" It seemed like he emphasized this over the others.

"Honestly? I have no idea what a Floewi is. When Mals and Lucifer were deciding on creatures and colors, Luci suggest Floewi and Mals just agreed. I'm pretty sure they're from Haven, or existed a really long time ago and no one's told Luci they died out. If you escaped for a week or more, either a demionae or gurio would find you and kill you, or one of the angels would find you. And the angels would not be particularly happy with us or you, so I advise you don't escape. Friday nights, if we don't have a hunt, we all go out and do our own thing, so I suppose you all could, too. Mals might have to call in a favor and get some protective charms, but I don't see why you all shouldn't have a break too." Eris replies.
