I've decided since a couple people said they'd shop there I'm going
to try to design my own shop for on here, though I've made a shop
once on Pokefarm I honestly really don't know what I was doing then
or now.
I know I'm gonna set it up to be Kamen Rider based as it's theme
and I'm going to try to make sprites of the guy in my avatar Ankh
and a guy named Sieg as my mascots.
Do you guys got tips or anything on making one to help me out or am
I on my own?
Give me a popsicle. Ich bin ein Eis am Stiel.
This is my little baby and her boyfriend.
I'm a Kamen Rider fan and a cosplayer~ Please refer to me as male
if you must and go ahead and call me Ankh, the guy I am using as my
face claim/to represent me and will always be in my
avatar.
Here's some advice for you. When you make it, it's a good idea to
get an order done in a day or two. If you do that, more people will
want your sprites. Although you should also take your time to make
the sprite look good. Just not a week or anything. Also, be very
kind, Which you are But even nicer. People will want to come
back to a nice spriter. And have plenty of example sprites so that
people know exactly what it is they're ordering and can get the
full idea of how good you are. And thanks for the comp. xD I should
make more PPGs even the PPGZ ones. Cause so cute. ovo
Hm I usually don't enter many clubs but this one is interesting I
think x3

How long you been spriting? Uh, I don't even know. Considering the
first tries, I think 4 years?
How many sprites you have made? Including editing, loaaaaaads of
them :b
Got yourself a shop in PH? Nope, I'm a busy person usually xD
What post you want to see yourself in? In the one you want? :b
Password: Lion King! rawr xD
Oh yep even if I may not write a lot, I keep reading forums ;3 also
I'll have much more free time after 6th June.
I wanted to do something and now that I joined this I think it's a
good place to show it >3o it's the first time I do these kind of
"gif-progress" thing xD
It's about how I did this, not too long ago :3
->
There are some colour differences due to the saving thing of my
Photoshop and such, but it should look at the end like the final
one.
And I'd like to say that everyone at the end can do such stuff like
the one I currently do. As most people I started editing existing
sprites and now I can do my own scratched stuff, so I'm sure you
can also do it! >3o
Gifs may be a bit trolling/annoying with Photoshop, since it's not
a program to do gifs actually, not like Flash or others xD
Something like the one I made is easy but it gives troubles while
saving the colours, since at first it just used few colours and
used blue and magenta instead of grey xD
Just getting used, like everything o:
I imagine so Abby. o3o I think gif.s just troll me at there best.
Since I have tried and tried to make them. So then there's like a
big nope over my head. XD
But you just have to get used to the timeline thing on Photoshop xD
I got used, but I have to make too many frames one by one, instead
of Flash which I think you can use some commands and stuff, for
example you can make something move without having to move it 2px
every frame and make it yourself xD
Well. I don't have PhotoSHop, either Flash. and Etc, I'm using
Pixlr, I'm kinda selftaught.. But I'm learning how to make some
sprites and what not. But I need help making pokeball's and
Gijinka's.. >m< And maybe stickers.
I see, I never got used to these kind of sites since the first
program I ever used was paint, which is actually really good even
for more professional like stuff like...here for example xD
I never did stickers, but I believe people usually make a white
lineart all around the sprite?
About Pokeballs, mainly take small parts of the pokemon that remind
you of the Pokemon. For example...ears mainly, perhaps tails, or
even patterns (like umbreon's yellow rings). And about Gijinkas,
it's similar, mainly ears and tails are the best for the more
simple but good looking ones. However you can try to scratch a
little for more complex designs like Gardevoir for example, you
could scratch over a female trainer a long dress, if they have a
short skirt or something :b
I Think We All Have Things We Are Better At In Spriting Then Any
Other Sprite Like I Am Really Good At Making Sprites With Little
Color And Sprites Where You have To Play With The Colors A Little
Bit. We All Are Good With Some Kind Of Sprite.
That's true, even though at the beggining you can't consider
yourself as good at something :b when I started I wasn't good at
anything. But once you start, yep you see what you are good at.
Also good thing about sprite editing is that when you know the base
you can do other stuff, for example, if you know how to recolour,
then you can do crystals, cotton candy and such, and when you know
how to fuse, you can do re-types, gijinkas maybe and such.
