Bluepaw looked up as he heard the noise as well. He was already a decent distance away from Crystalpaw, and almost to Ashpelt. Though he still heard it. Unsheathing his claws he looked around for the thing that could have made the sound. "What in the name of StarClan was that?" he meowed in confusion, and looked around camp.

Crystalpaw sniffed the air to smell something on the wind. She quickly stood and padded over to Bluepaw, her ice blue eyes filled with fear. "I'm not exactly sure how far it is but all i know is that there is a fox nearby. You go tell any warrior you come across while I go tell Rosestar." She said, and before she could get an answer she padded off to find the leader.

Bluepaw nodded quickly, and ran over to Ashpelt. The gray warrior was the closest warrior to him when Crystalpaw told him about the fox. "Ashpelt" Bluepaw meowed quickly, and ran over to the warrior.

Ashpelt looked over, and tilted his head "is something wrong Bluepaw?" He asked with a yawn. Bluepaw then explained what Crystalpaw heard. "I'll go find Rosestar" he meowed softly, and ran over to where Crystalpaw was running. Bluepaw went to the camp entrance, and parted his jaws to catch a scent of the fox. He was determined to keep his clan safe at all costs.

Crystalpaw quickly ran up to Rosestar "Rosestar!" She meowed out of breath, her eyes wide. "There's... there's a fox... near the camp!" she huffed, collapsing from running so fast. She hoped the leader didn't think it was a trick like the last time.

Rosestar looked at Crystalpaw with a piercing gaze. "You better not be lying." She said carefully. "I'll send out a patrol now." She continued. She walked over to Bluepaw and Ashpelt. "Can you two please take Cherryflight and Gingerpelt with you to find this fox Crystalpaw has scented? Crystalpaw will also come with you."

Ashpelt nodded, and looked over to Bluepaw. "Bluepaw!" he meowed sharply causing the apprentice to jump in shock, and run over to the warrior. "Go find Cherryflight, and Gingerpelt" he mewed kindly. Bluepaw nodded, and ran off to look for the other two warriors as quickly as he could.

"I promise you, Rosestar, I'm not lying." She said quickly standing and walking up to Ashpelt. she sat down and waited quietly for Bluepaw to find the two warriors.

Bluepaw sniffed around camp looking for Cherryflight, and Gingerpelt. His fur was slightly on end as he thought of the fox, and the fight. "Gingerpelt! Cherryflight!" he called out quickly, and tried to look for the two cats. He was uncertain that his fighting skills will be enough to fight the fox, after all he'd only been an apprentice for a short time. He shook the uneasy feeling off, and continued to call for the two warriors.

Cherryflight jumped up at the sound of his name, seeing the apprentice looking around. He had a feeling of dread fill him as he sprinted to the apprentice. "Yes, Bluepaw?" He asked, voice shaking a bit. He looked at the apprentice with a straight face, serious but fear lit in his eyes.

"Crystalpaw heard a fox just outside camp. Ashpelt told me to look for you, and Gingerpelt." He mewed quickly. He was panting slightly from a mixture of panic, and running around for the two warriors. "Rosestar assigned you to the patrol to look for it" he explained swiftly, and looked around. "Where's Gingerpelt?"

Gingerpelt nearly jumped when her name was called. Quickly, she ran over to Bluepaw. "What's wrong? Why have you called me?" She asked in a not entirely nice tone.

Bluepw flicked an ear. Is everyone going to claw my ears off if I talk to them he thought to himself, and bit back a sigh in annoyance. "A fox is near camp. Rosestar put you on patrol" he said kindly. He then went back to Ashpelt, Rosestar, and Crystalpaw.

Cherryflight looked at Gingerpelt. "We kill it when we find it, correct?" He asked her, tail whipping a bit as his eyes narrowed. He flinched. Maybe he should have just asked Bluepaw, Gingerpelt seemed to be in a foul mood. He still blinked and looked at her, questioning if she would bother to answer.

[Basically, the meeting finished, a fox was scented near camp, and Rosestar made a patrol of Ashpelt, Crystalpaw, Bluepaw, Gingerpelt and Cherryflight to find and scare it off.]

Gingerpelt nodded and followed Bluepaw back to Ashpelt, Rosestar, and Crystalpaw. She wondered why she had been chosen, since she wasn't the best warrior. It doesn't matter. My mother was the most dedicated warrior ever. I'll die like her if I need to. She thought.

Bluepaw sat next to Ashpelt, careful about keeping his distance from Crystalpaw. "They're coming" he said to Rosestar kindly, and dipped his head respectfully. Bluepaw then looked at the camp entrance, and parted his jaws to catch the scent of the fox. He could only catch the very faintest scent of the fox that Crystalpaw heard.

Wolffrost was coming back to the camp with 2 mice in her mouth.She heard there was a fox scented so she tried to stay careful while walking back to camp.She finally was at camp as she went to the fresh kill pile to drop off the mice."Maybe some relaxing for the mean time will do?"She said to her self,Walking out of camp again and going to a nice rock to lay on.

Cherryflight scampered to follow Gingerpelt and Bluepaw to Ashpelt, Rosestar, and Crystalpaw. He trotted, silent though his heart pounded. He was terrified of most things bigger than him, like dogs and foxes. He shivered, though he didn't make a noise. He took a deep inhale, breathing out slowly.

Rosestar nodded. "Off you go then. If anything pops up, send an apprentice back for reinforcements." She ordered, keeping a calm tone.

Gingerpelt waited at where everyone was. She was slightly nervous, but also slightly excited to be fighting a fox. Of course, she was in control of her emotions, so she kept a straight face on the outside.
