He usually tried to blend in and wear plain clothes on his trips to town, but his mind was elsewhere. He wuickly slippe dout of the palace and walked into town, pulling his hood over his dark hair.
Lise smiled. "Alright. Catch you later." Lise said. She quickly got up and brushed herself off before heading off. She had established a temporary base nearby.
Oliver reached a cart selling fruit and smiled. "Good evening, Mrs. Beaver." He said kindly to the hybrid woman before him. She turned and smiled widely. "Oh! Good evening, my darling,"" She said, "would you like the usual fruits?" Oliver nodded. "How are Oliver and Milo?" He asked. The twins of Mr. and Mrs. Beaver had been named after himself and his friend, Milo. "They are well, Deary." She hummed, before placing the fruit in a little bag. Oliver handed her some silver coins, one extra as tip. "Thank you, Mrs. Beaver!" He said, beginning to pad off. "You're welcome! Oh! And don't forget to join us for dinner sometime soon!" Oliver smiled. "Of course." He said over his shoulder before walking away.
Harper flew towards their own base, and landed a short minute after. They placed down their things, and sat down on the rough blankets they had discovered in the trash. They huffed, shaking their head to fluff up their hair.
Martial noticed her sad smile and his eyes softened a bit. This was hard for the both of them. "We might as well." He said with a wry smile. He held out his arm for her. "I think I know just the place." He said.
Troye quickly slipped past the guards, pretending to be a servant going into town. He made sure to keep his hood all the way over his head. His dark hair and bright red eyes were extremely recognizable. He looked down, trying to think of a way to help his brother. He was so focused, he accidentally bumped into Oliver. He stumbled and fell, unable to keep his balance and he landed on the ground with a thud.
Lise walked into an abandoned building and headed up to the top floor. She had claimed a small room for herself. It had a small bed and nightstand in the corner, with a desk on the other wall. She put her bag on the desk and sighed, looking out the window.
Oliver let out a little "ah!" As he was bumped into, falling onto his bum on the gravel road. His basket of fruit was tipped over, none of them damaged. Two apples had spilled out, but the rest were so tightly got into ur that they didn't budge. He looked up at the other person, and stared at them for a moment. "I'm sorry!" He whimpered, leaning over to pick up the fruits and hold them close to himself, staring at the other boy.
Harper huffed, blinking. Their own hideaway was on the roof of Lise's building. They took another bite of bread, flopping backwards into the bed. Their hair sprawled out under them, and they closed their eyes as they chewed.
