"I..." Adelynn reluctantly took the brooch, running her fingers over the feathers, which had a soft texture. Before she could ask any questions, the lady was gone. She ran the brooch over again, and her eyes widened in suprise. This was the Peacock miraculous, meaning the woman giving it to her was Le Peon, an ally of Hawk Moth, the famous villain.

Make bad uses of it.

Adelynn wasn't a villain, she couldn't be. She glanced at the brooch, I don't have to follow her path. She thought, eyes still widened in surprise. She lay the brooch gently in her bag, wary of what would happen if she put it on. Slowly, she made her way back to the studio and entered, hands still shaking from the encounter.

When Maria exited the school, she was bumped into by some girl screaming about Chloe and her miraculous. Maria apologized to the girl softly, but was quite curious. She walked to the other street, glancing around. There seemed to be a few others coming to see the miraculous. She adjusted the neck of her sweater, and ran a hand through her hair, which she had let hang today.
