I had a little thought in mind and maybe it could be helpful.

The suggestion:-

So, like we like collected 1 type of pokemon like, for example, starly. If we have its eggdex, or whole pokedex entry, we won't have to wait to see if it is a starly or not, if you have its eggdex entry, you can see it instantly,
But it will not apply to ditto and rare pokemon and the birds trio.

This would make things pretty disadvantageous for newer users. It would also decrease the difficulty of a lab hunt.

Even if you make it not show for legends, it'd get pretty obvious that something is a legend if the type and stuff doesn't show up when you're an older user with the egg dex of basically everything.

No I meant only easy medium rarity would be seen.

That would still kinda go by what silver star had said though?

If we can see the eggdex for easy/med/hard, then that means that literally every premium user who has completed their dex aside from ditto/legends would know right away at 10 seconds if they should adopt that egg or not, since they have their own egg group and wouldn't apply to this? So since any other egg would show the species after 10 seconds, if it doesn't show the species then we know for sure we need to adopt it since it's a legend/ditto?
That would be incredibly unfair to all people who aren't premium as well, since they need to wait a few seconds longer before seeing the typing/rarity of each egg

If someone who already has Ditto and the legend birds get the ability to straight up know when an egg is one of them, then it will be impossible to get one.
