Confusion Regarding Lottery?

I entered into the Lottery with four separate tickets for today, and when this day's lottery ended, I noticed that I actually had two different matches, but got no Game Chips.
Is gaining Game Chips a chanced drop if you have matches for the lower tears, like 1 or two matches, or is this some kind of weird little glitch? It does say that if you get two matches you get 200 Game Chips for it, but I got none.
I am not really sure if this is a glitch or not since I am not very knowledgable with this stuff, but it seemed off to me so I thought it would be good mentioning.

Because it works kinda like a real lottery, its matches per card
that way if you buy five cards and get one pokemon correct on each, you're not winning the Shiny Lugia

I've won with 4 matches and each match being on different cards.
Now I'm confused and not sure which one is the glitch, but if what you said is true it seems that technically that other I just mentioned shouldn't have happened?

I see the confusion I had here now, but I am not sure what to do about this since it was a few months ago. I did not think anything was wrong then, but now i see something was definitely wrong.
It seems to be working fine now, but what do I do about this? I got Game Chips I should have never gotten.

You must've had some double matches as well, that got you the Game Chips.

Oh good lord I was panicking I thought I hit a massive glitch and didn't realize it was a glitch. X'D
