Dragons do exist. But only here, on this island. A very large island, with five corners. From above, it kind of looks like a star.

In the northern point lies the snowy plains. It's always winter there. With ice so thick, not even the hottest of flames can melt it. But, this also means that crops (plants in general) find it very hard to grow so it's mainly fishing that is done here.

In the north-east, there's the finest of beaches - the Crystal Beaches. With golden sands and calm crystal waters, it instantly relaxes anyone who sets foot upon them. There's said to be an underwater castle which had been built millions of years ago, but no one has ever looked.

Mount Ruby stands in the southern-east corner, the tallest volcano on the island. This corner wasn't originally a corner but was joined to the main island by a huge eruption. There are many lavafalls here - they're like waterfalls but lava replaces the water.

The Jade Forests has taken over the whole of the southern-west corner. It's concealed many secrets such as the Old Crystal Falls (a dried out water fall, that connected the Jade Forest and Crystal Beaches via a river), the Draco Ruins (An underground hallway which supposedly holds unspeakable secrets) and many more which have been forgotten over many years.

And lastly, Volt Peaks. Mountains so high that they pass far above the clouds. The mountains have an odd copperish colored tint to them. It's thought that the mountains contain a lot of copper which is why they are able to conduct thunder from storms so well. Because of this, other areas of the island are less likely to experience storm since they're drawn to the Volt Peaks.

"Devon!' Blue yelled. Blue was, once again, gathering wood for foundation. Devon, his dragon, came rushing back. "What happened to you?" Blue asked. "Heh, what else? Training." Blue grinned. "So you were. Help?" He said, pointing at the trees he had cut down.

A young, blue haired girl, who went by the name of Mizu Lake, sat at the waters edge with the feet partially buried in the sand. Before her was a dragon, who was a similar shade of blue, gliding across the water. It landed and perched itself upon a rock that jutted out from the sea. With spread wings, and a lifted head, it let out a loud screech, causing the water to ripple.

Mizu could only smile at her beast. She was proud to have been able to raise such a creature.

"I didn't want that one! Do I look cheap to you?!"

The gold piece of jewelry was thrown across the dining table, where it bounced and landed somewhere on the floor. The boy scowled an crossed his arms. Tears welled in his mothers eyes whilst his fathers eyebrows furrowed in obvious anger.

"I've had enough with this! If you're not going to be grateful of anything we give you, then I don't want you here!" His father snapped, "It's you're choice, so make it now."

"Fine!"

With that, the boy stormed to his room. Thinking that he'd gone to say the rest of the day up there, sulking, his parents sighed. But minutes later, he came back down with a rucksack packed. He didn't even say good bye and simply, walked out of his home.

Aimi was near the beach, looking madly in the sand for her necklace. It wasn´t too long ago when she was playing with it before it suddently jumped from her fingers and landed somewhere in the sand, since then she had been looking for it.

Near her was her dragon, half laying under the water, looking at her somewhat amused, carefully hiding the necklace on his tail to make sure the girl wouldnt see.

A young girl, about 12, wandered through a forest, blonde hair swaying slightly in the wind. A dragon slunk through the forest close to her. "Mayfleur?" The young girl said, brushing a strand of gold hair from her face, revealing a jade ring on her left hand. "Yes my love? Are you ok?" "Yes... I was wondering if we're could go down to the beach?" "Of course, little Fayaria." The girl climbed on the green dragon. Mayfleur launched into the sky.

As Blue and Devon made their way past the village to deliver the wood, they saw a boy run out from his house. "Was that Kori?" Blue muttered to Devon. "Hm." Devon says simply.

"It's none of your business," Kori hissed, "Glaze! Here! Now!"

In the distance, a large silver-y white dragon flew towards the boy. It's wings cutting through the thick, cold mist. It settled on the ground, just behind Kori, puffing out his chest and wings for intimidation.

Devon just shrugged. After delivering the wood, they decided to head to the Water kingdom. Devon was friendly there, after all.

Azur finally decided to end his fun and returned the lost necklace. Aimi, not even assuming the dragon had been hiding it politly thanks as she puts the object in his place "okay then, what can we do now?"

"Devon!" Blue yelled, after packing. "Calm down." Devon said, grinning. He donned a goody pair of shades. "Heh, c'mon!" Blue yelled. He rushed outside and trekked to the Crystal Beaches.

The dragon gets up and walks out of the water, even if his tail continued resting there, almost impossible to distigue from the water as he walks to his partner, before walking past her making his own way. Aimi looks confused at him before starting running after him as he walked faster
