The egg contains a dragon. It's typing depends on the clan the child is born into. The child must take responsibility for this creature, as it is not a toy of any sort. And despite the fact the the dragon will listen to no one other than it's Keeper, it's not certain that it will listen to it's Keeper right away. As a child itself, it's most likely going to be curious of everything, wanting to know everything other than it's training.
With the egg, comes a piece of jewelry for both the dragon and it's Keeper. On it, should be a gemstone that matches the clan colors. The gem allows connections between the two, such as telepathy. A Keeper cannot exchange telepathic thoughts between other Keepers and Dragons - it's strictly between a Keeper and it's dragon. The jewelry comes in: necklaces, bracelets, rings or anklets (ankle bracelets).
Finally - Sparing. Sparing is allowed, outdoors. Dragons can be quite destructive, trained or not. It's recommended that you spar in open spaces, where there isn't much to destroy. Keeper - Keeper sparing is allowed, as different clans have different powers. Dragon - Dragon sparing is also allowed, obviously. However, Keeper - Dragon sparing is illegal and may result in the destruction of both keeper's dragons and the imprisonment of both keepers. Lets hope that never has to happen.

Other: Her dragon becomes one of her closest friends, if not her closest. She's an only child but is adored by her parents. It's very unlikely that she will fight, she usually tends to use her 'magic', as she calls it, to aid others.

When he knows you, however, like Mizu, he's sweet and won't cause you any trouble. Despite his looks, he's basically a teddy bear. He, too, has a thin silver bracelet with a similar sapphire to Mizu.
