This is the Sign-Up for this roleplay that was originally created by Lillypie, but she quit the Roleplay and had me take over. I'm simply reposting the Sign-Up thread so it's easier for me to organize and also make some changes to the rules.
Plot: You're a trainer currently in the Region of Kalos, traveling with your Pokemon. Along the way, you meet other friends who can also be your rivals, each with different goals whether it being becoming the New Champion, a Top Coordinator, New Gym Leader or the newly crowned Kalos Queen. It isn't always peaceful in Kalos, as the evil organization Team Flare secretly plots their ultimate attack and executes countless illegal plans to help make a new "Perfect World". Where will this journey take you?
Rules:
[These are to be followed without question. Failure to do so will result in an expulsion from the Roleplay. Please keep yourself updated with these Rules, any changes will be in red but will not be announced.]
• All PokeHeroes Rules apply!
• Please [try to] have proper English
-→ please try your hardest to use correct English, including grammar & spelling; minor/occasional errors are okay.
• Not everyone has to have the same goal
-→ your character can want to be the Champion or a new Pokemon Professor, it's up to you to decide.
• You can have as many characters as you can keep up with
-→ in other words, don't make thirteen characters and only use one.
------ temporary "leaves of absence" are okay, though.
-→ this does not include a character's Pokemon
• No Mary-Sues, "To Be RPed", or Powerplaying
-→ in other words ...
------ your character(s) can't be perfect, they need flaws
------ only control your character(s) & npcs
-------- only one person can control a single npc at a time though
---------(ex: two people can't control a single gym leader)
------ no endless battles because your Pokemon magically dodges/blocks/counters all attacks
• Please try to keep serious real-life scenarios out of the RP
-→ for example, please don't have your character(s) be suicidal, have substance abuse issues, etc.
• Pokemon can't "choose" you as a trainer, you have to battle and capture it
-→ you can, however, occasionally find Pokemon Eggs that can contain pokemon not native to that area.
------ ex: finding an Alolan Vulpix egg in Kalos or finding a Noibat Egg on Kalos Route 12 is okay.
• Try not to have all the same Pokemon
-→ A couple characters having the same Pokemon (ex: Fennekin) is okay, but try not to have everyone have an Eevee.
------
• First Pokemon do not have to be Starter Pokemon
-→ they do have to be in the First Stage unless they are an experienced trainer/not a part of the group
------ ex: beginning trainers can start with a Zorua, but can't start with a Zoroark.
• Shiny & Legendary Pokemon must get approved by me
