So this suggestion is pretty simple. There should be a way to remove more than one person from your friendlist at once. You see, everytime you unfriend one person on your friendlist, it refreshes. And its REALLY annoying to scroll all the way down to where you were to unfriend another person.

Edit: Maybe the same could be for friending? Its less common, but sometimes people add you while your offline too, and it ends up with a lot of unadded people.

Its actually really common if you ask me. Not that common, but most of the time there is always a "cleaning friendlist comment to stay" thing.

No support.

As terepy said, I don't see a need for this. Unfriending just takes clicking one button - something you'd also have to do for mass unfriending (unless you mean unfriending everyone at once? ). Unfriendling a few people doesn't take that long in my opinion.

Its actually really tedious to clean your friendlist by unfrieding someone one by one, especially if you have a big friendlist.

When y'all asking why, I'm asking why not!?
People don't clean their friend lists as often because it takes too long. I have a huge friends list, I haven't cleaned it for almost 3 years, and I don't want to because it will probably take hours. Its also very teidious as it takes you right back up to the start, I wouldn't even mind if there was just an update when your page doesn't refresh. Full support, I think this is definitely needed.

i agree with pokenight. an update where it doesn't refresh would be nice, but how would this work?

No support.

I personally wouldn't use it either since my friendlist is rather small.
I don't mean to sound rude and sorry if my assumption if false, but it honestly seems like you have added/are adding a lot of random people which really doesn't make it a "friend" list in my opinion.

I do have to admit that I've mass-unfriended users in the past, but it was relatively simple for me because I CTRL + Click to open it in another tab so I could just down instead of going back up and doing it one-by-one that way.

Also the little "v" on the Notifications helps me out a lot because if someone I don't really know/talk to spams feeds I can just single them out of my FL with that.

Support!

What if you could have a list of checkboxes with a 'select all' option? I'm sure that would make things a lot easier. This would also make it more mobile-friendly

I recently cleared my friendlist, from 600+ to 17 users. Yes, a 'friendlist' implies you should only add friends, but I wanted to see feeds from more people, plus adding people helps me make more friends. (I cleared my friendlist as I getting a bit too addicted)

If you are on a computer, cleaning out your FriendList is quite easy. Hold down CTRL and left click on the heart. It will open the individual in a new Tab, keeping you on the Friendlist Tab without refreshing the page. You will, however, have to close down the Tabs it opens regularly, especially if your Computer cannot handle that many open Tabs at once.

I guess that can be used, but it would still be nice to have a feature itself without technicall jammies.

no support; subjectively, this is the definition of "would simplify an existing feature in an unnecessary way."

How exactly does this "simplifies" a "existing" feature?

the existing feature is removing users from your friend list, albeit one at a time.

the mass-unfriending system suggested here would be unnecessary, as the exact same thing can be achieved by CTRL-clicking the unfriend buttons. it's actually already a really simple function, if you're on a computer.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, it isn't strictly necessary since we have something that works just as well; no support from me unless a majority of users is really taking issue with this.

The thing is, that's not exactly a existing feature. Its more like a user-made feature, instead. But I get your point.

No support, its just unneeded as if you mean to add a check box then that would be just a waste of time to implement, also its really not the admins fault that you added hundreds of random people that you're not friends with, in my opinion just don't mass add people.
