I might ask every now and then who should be paired with who as far as mates and relationships.

Title: Luna's Story

Before reading, take Note that Luna is an OC mare that I created years ago.

Luna's hidden life~~~

A mare, barely seven years of age already leads a herd of her own, though it was not easy for her to get there. The white mate was named Lunar Shine, but many called her Luna. She has the purest of white coats that shined in the moonlight as the Rays danced across her back.

Her story was not all pleasant to begin with, though has grown into something beautiful.

Luna's story begins on the night of her birth. Her mother was a simple bay mare with a small white sock and a white snip on her nose. Her name? Amoura. Luna loved her mother from the time she first looked at her in the cold world she was brought into. Luna had stood up fairly quickly that night to nurse and to keep close to the only other heat she had, her mother. The humans who owned her had watched her and wondered how she would do growing up as a show mare.

Within a few days Luna and Amoura were allowed out with other fillies and colts with their mothers. Luna stuck close to Amoura, though one black colt named Midnight had seen her and smiled. After a few days of talking him and Luna would wonder about the pasture and race, though with Luna having longer legs she won more often than not. Midnight smiled at Luna and both would race off again.

One day when Luna was about six months old, she and the other foals about her age, including Midnight, were taken from their mothers. Midnight instantly went over to Luna. "We will be alright" he said in a comforting voice. The white mare looked at him. "How can you be so sure? Where are our mothers?" Fear was bright in her deep brown eyes as Midnight sighed. "My mother warned me this would happen. They seem to do this quite often when we get about this age" he said with a shaking head. "We will see them around the ranch, but nothing more sadly." Luna moved closer to Midnight. "At least your here" she said as she nuzzled him.

After about a year, most of the foals Luna and Midnight grew up with had been taken by other humans. Midnight fought off any human that tried to take him, and would throw a hissy fit if any tried taking Luna. The two had grown quite fond of each other, and most horses wondered if they would become mates. It was rare in a world run by humans, but it could happen, and it had.

Midnight and I are growing tired of these humans trying to separate us. About a week ago I managed to break part of a fence out of the humans eyes so we could run away. I told Midnight about in he grew happy. I could see he was somewhat scared, but he wanted to go. Tonight, we make our escape. We learned how to open the stall doors, and we know where to meet up.

It's only about mid day, and they put Midnight and I in the same pasture. "Let's go now. They won't miss us." Midnight smiled. "Lead the way fair Luna." I smiled and lead him to the broken fence and jumped it cleanly. Looking back at Midnight I had hoped he would clear it as well. He wasn't the best jumper, but I had faith in him. Once Midnight cleared it we took off. We were only about a year and a half at the time, but we didn't care. The humans were mean, and harsh. One human hit me just for scratching my leg while we were walking. It wasn't right! Midnight got hit just for looking at a dog.

We raced away with the ranch behind us, not looking back. "I love you Luna" Midnight said, catching me completely off guard. "D-do you really mean that Midnight" I asked as I started blushing. I watched him smile. "Of course I do. Why would I say it if I didn't mean it?" His black coat shined from his bath he had just the day before, making me blush even more. "I love you too Midnight" I said holding my smile.

We finally slowed down near a river and caught our breath and took a drink. "This water, it's amazing. Much better than what come out of that weird snake thing" I said as Midnight agreed. "You're right Luna." He nuzzled me before we started walking again. We followed the river and smiled when we reached a beautiful meadow.

A few days past and Midnight asked me to be his mate. I of course said yes, though we agreed to hold off on having foals. Little did I know that would be the last night we saw each other. A mountain lion had attacked, and Midnight sacrificed his life to save mine, even killing the mountain lion in doing so. After that, I was found by a heartless stallion. His herd had no life almost, the mares passed from stallion to stallion just to have foals! After years of it, I finally challenged Storm for the lead, and I managed to take it from him. He was not expecting to lose, but I allowed him to stay in the herd.

After that, I changed the ways of the herd, though I am still having difficulty trusting, I am slowly getting there.

Title: The Packs (Chapter 1)

*This-This fight. We cant hold out much longer* thought a large black male wolf. His eyes were blood red as he scanned the area. *Luna* he thought. *I must help her.* He saw the white wolf fighting with Scar, the Alpha of the other pack. He grew worried as he neared.

"Lear" he heard a voice call. It was Hawk, his younger brother. "Lear, we need to get you out of here" spoke the dark gray male. His green eyes showed he was worried.

Lear shook his head. "Help Luna" was all he managed to say as he collapsed and passed out.

After the battle Luna howled to her pack to gather near as they managed to chase off Scar and his group. "Is everyone alright" she asked. She saw Hawk, Swift, Amara, Bramble and Aro. "Where is Lear" she asked as her eyes scanned the area.

Hawk looked down. "H-he is gone Luna" he said motioning to the only lifeless body in the clearing.

Luna's eyes widened as she ran over to him. "No! Lear!" She shook her head in disbelief. "This cant be" she whispered. *We were suppose to be mates for life* she thought. *Why now? Why you* she kept asking herself. They hadn't been mates for long, but they have loved each other since they were young. She looked at the others in the group. "We best bring his body to the camp, to let everyone mourn the loss of an Alpha" she said.

Hawk and Amara moved in to grab Lear's scruff as Swift went and grabbed his haunches. None of the eyes were left without sorrow filling them.

"Aro, get to camp and let Saga know" Luna said. Aro dipped his head and took off in front of the others.

Scar growled as Storm, Hunter and Dusk followed him into the camp. "They will regret trying to take us on" he said coldly.

Dusk smirked. "We can always go back after them now that their precious Alpha male is dead" he said. "I killed him myself. Made sure he wouldn't be able to help his mate against you Scar."

Scar looked at Dusk. "Perfect. While they are weak we will prepare for another attack" he spoke.

Vladimir walked out of his den. "As long as you don't keep wasting my supply of herbs, do as your heart pleases" he said. His golden eyes scanned those who came back and shook his head. "Line up at my den. Whoever has the worst need to be taken care of first." He shook his head and headed back into his head to gather the supplies needed. His reddish brown pelt blended into the darkness of the den and was ready to examine the others. "Scar, looks like you have the worst. Your shoulder has a deep cut."

Scar looked as his shoulder. "So it seems I do. That was probably Luna's doing" he said. "That worthless female doesn't deserve to be Alpha. Once she is gone they will be our prisoners" he growled.

Vladimir rolled his eyes as he tended to Scar. "I think we need to find more loners first. Build our pack and then attack. You were outnumbered, even if you managed to kill their Alpha male" he said calmly.

Scar wasn't pleased with the way Vladimir was talking to him. "You are right, though I suggest watching your tongue" he said. He watched as the healer finished tending to his wounds and moved onto the next in line.

Saga was waiting outside her den after hearing the news. She and Gray were waiting quietly for the others to arrive.

Aro was in the den with his mate, Lyra, and their two pups, Aria and Fang. He sighed as he told Lyra the news of Lear, glad the pups were asleep.

Luna lead the group as Amara, Swift and Hawk gently laid Lear's body in the middle of the camp. Hawk placed a paw on Lear's shoulder and sighed. "I will miss you brother" he said as he looked toward Gray and walked over.

Gray sighed. "I didn't think I would out live your mother" he said. "And I certainly didn't think to out live a son." Hawk lowered his head. "His last words to me were to help Luna. He never even thought of himself." Gray smiled. "Not even when he was healthy did he only ever think of himself."

Saga moved to Luna first to make sure their Alpha female was alright. Other than a few scrapes and scratches, and losing her mate, Luna was alright. Saga moved onto Swift who did have a slight limp from a twisted paw, but that was about it for her.

Luna called for the pack to gather around Lear. She sighed as she looked at her mate. "Today, we might have won a battle, but we lost a dear pack mate. A friend, a son, a brother, and a mate" she said. "We will not let his memories ever leave us. He was a wonderful leader, and I will certainly follow in his paw steps as such." Howls filled the air after she spoke as everyone moved closer to Lear to mourn.

Title: The Packs (Chapter 2)

Luna called Nicholai over to her. She wanted to know what the new wolf knew. Dawn and Adair followed the reddish brown male, not fully trusting him yet. The white alpha looked at Nicholai. "What does Scar plan to do" she asked rather coldly. She didn't intend to sound harsh, but it was the way she was after losing her mate.

Nicholai lowered his head. "I do not know. I never listened to his plans. I left before I even knew he was going to attack you."

Luna glanced at Dawn and Adair to see if they agreed that he was telling the truth. The two females nodded to Luna. The alpha sighed. "Thank you" she said. Luna dismissed Nicholai into his temporary den with Bramble guarding the entrance. So far they hadn't had any problems with him, though weren't about to chance it.

Gray walked over to Luna and sat down. "I know you are missing Lear" the elder wolf spoke. "He is my son, and I miss him." Luna looked at Gray. "Thank you" she said. "I just hope we didn't make a mistake bringing in Nicholai to the pack."

Gray shook his head. "So far he just seems happy to be away from Scar. I think you should let him go hunting with the others at some point." Luna smiled and nodded. "Alright. Thank you Gray" she said before she stood up and walked over to Ruby.

"Ruby, can you please get a small hunting Party ready?" Luna stood tall. Ruby nodded. "Of course Luna" she said calmly. "We will not take long with the hunt."

Ruby called Ulalia, Mikhail and Raxis over to head out with her. The four of them headed out of the camp and headed farther north to track the elk they scented a week earlier.

Vladimir walked over to his brother Ivanovich after the wounded were taken care of. "Any sign of Nicholai when you were out" he asked quietly. Ivanovich shook his head. "I would assume the other pack has him at this point" the black eyed brother spoke. "With no sign of him Scar will see him as a traitor and will view us the same." Vladimir nodded. "If he doesn't already see us like such."

Ivanovich looked over his shoulder to see Scar walk by. He lowered his head as to not make a scene with the alpha male. "We will have to be careful" he said to Vladimir.

Scar growled and shouted to the pack. "Pack meeting! NOW!" He watched as his pack gathered around, Summer moving to his side. "With Nicholai gone I now have to assume others are willing to leave" he growled. He watched for any sign of betrayal and stood tall. "From here on out, nobody leaves camp without telling me" he said. "And if any disobey, They will be punished." He noticed Sky not looking at him and remembered how she recently became blind. "As for Sky, she will be exiled now. Her blindness, is weakness."

Sky looked shocked as well as her mate Storm. "Then who will take her place as Delta female" he asked, not wanting to lose Sky.

Scar narrowed his eyes. "Take your pick of females" he said as he lunged at Sky to chase her off.

Leigon and Dusk helped join Scar in chasing her off while Fire walked over to Storm. "You will find a better mate" she said in a flirty way. She headed back to her den, knowing the meeting was over the moment Scar went after Sky.

So, I know its been a long while since I've posted here. The reason its been so long is that I lost motivation for a while because if my husband leaving for deployment, but I am starting to feel like writing again, so keep your eyes peeled for new parts of the stories.

Luna is Strong hearted and will do whatever it takes to make sure her pack is safe and healthy, even if it means separating from her pack for a little while to lead attackers away

Luna was born, the only offspring, to the Alpha Male and Alpha Female before her. She grew up knowing she would be the next Alpha and she acted like it. Luna saw many things happen, including her parents getting killed when she was only 1 year and 2 months old. She was the youngest to become an Alpha in her pack from all of history. Dispite her being so young, she lead the pack very well, not needing a mate, though it was required so there could be future Alpha's without chaos.
