Melanie walked into the high school, her colorful tattoos showing
through her shirt, which had little holes through the sleeve. She
pulled off her sunglasses and placed them into her pocket. Her
giant heels were heavy, but she loved them to death, like her
clothes, and tattoos.
Melanie giggled, her nose ring sparkling. She decided to then go
outside, and put her shades back on once more. She dreaded the
first day of school, leaving her family's mansion. But, she thought
it would be fun to get tattoos and piercings without her mom
screaming at her. She noticed Cierah, and started to walk over to
her.
Melanie made a frown. "Hey!" Melanie said loudly. Her piercings,
hair, tattoos, and clothes might have seemed a bit intimating, but
she still wanted to talk.
Kyu walked into the school, looking around. She stepped outside and
spotted Melanie and Cierah. She leaned against the building and
watched the clouds.
Flavia was with her friends. They were sitting on the bench,
sipping their smoothies, watching her practice for her basketball
tournament. She scored a few baskets and went over to her friends.
She grabbed her water and sat next to one of them, wiping the sweat
off her forehead. They talked for a while after that.
Evelyn was outside, sketching under a tree. She hummed, shifting.
Her art spread across the paper, two people holding hands. One
male, with longish curly hair, and freckles spread across him. The
other, also male, had straight black hair, and pale skin. They were
smiling, looking to each other with something that could only
resemble love. She smiled. "I wish there was someone who looked at
me like this...."
Melanie turned around, and went back inside. She was greeted by
spilled coffee all over the floor. "What kind of 14 year old drinks
coffee?" She said, before heading to the halls to find her dorm.
She sun was starting to set, and it was getting cooler outside. She
smiled and waved at a group of boys, who seemed to be staring at
her, looking at her tattoos and piercings. She knew they liked
them.
Flavia got up and waved goodbye. She had to go meet a couple of her
tennis teammates by the dorms. She grabbed her duffel bag and ran
out the gym door. She saw Melanie and almost bumped into her while
running to the group of guys. "What are you all looking at?" She
asked. They pointed at Melanie and she turned to look at her
closer.
