Alessia looked at her wrist, which was bent at a strange angle. Other than that and the bruises she was okay. Alessia shakily got up and clutched her wrist, which was swelling up. She saw a couple of scientists talking in a corner and quietly walked over to listen in.

The scientists were talking quietly about the experiments.

One was also carrying a horribly mutated body that looked like it should be dead, but twitched occasionally.

Blitz ignored everyone and walked up to the scientests. He tapped one on the shoulder. "Yo, do you know what's going on?" Some flames on his arms caught onto the body.

The mutant corpse fell on the floor and started mewling like a kitten. The scientist glared at it as it cried.

Alessia slowly backed away to the door again. She didn't hit it but instead looked it over. There had to be some way to get out.

Alessia pried at the doorknob again, but it was of no use. She took another look at the lock and shook her head. One of the scientists must have a key in one of their lab coats pockets...
