From the growling out jumped a large Cat-like insect animal slowly creeping up to the group. It had its eyes on Aranea as it approched.

Aranea was shaking, tears spilling from her bright baby blue eyes. Fear coursed through her body as if it was her own blood.

Rayne Grabbed her machete from her belt and ponted it towards the creature. "Get out of here you crazy looking creature." it snarled and lunged for the group.

Sue poked it, eyes wide. "Whoaa..." Sue then took out her butchers knife, and poked it with that. (is it bad she knows how to use this weapon, and it's her weapon of choice? are we allowed self defence weapons? )

Aranea let out a loud Yelp, and tossed a throwing knife from her bag at the thing. She was terrified.

Rayne ran up ant stabbed the creature. It started to twitch before finally giving its last breath. Rayne let out a sigh. "We better set up some kind of defense." she looked to the forest edge.

"I got a lot of stuff!" Sue declared, dumping out one of her bags, filled with food and toys, she dumped out another which had building materals. "Will any of this help?"

After setting up a stable perimeter Rayne went and gathering firewood and set up the firepit. She sat down and started thinking while lighting the fire.

Sue ran over with a stick covered in fire "Got something!" She grinned, gently setting it in the fire.

Aranea slipped away to gather firewood, and her arms were filled with wood. She stumbled a bit, before tripping.

Sue slid in, catching the wood as she dives down. "I got them!" Sue squealed, and flopped over, her face in the ground as she held the dropped wood. "saved...."

Aranea stumbled over Sue, apologizing as she tried to regain balance before falling, and hitting her hand on a rock, a yelp escaping her.

Through the brush a pair of eyes watched them with intelligence slowly wondering what these creatures were.

The fire started Rayne went and sat next to the fire thinking about this new world.
