Soul had been watching the whole time as Ash was trying to get Aqua to stop singing loudly into his ear. He sighed, and tugged on her arm angrily. "Please, be quiet." he hissed, shaking her violently. She shrieked, and started running away from him.

I watched them run around while chuckling softly to myself. This place was dangerous, and yet they still got into mindless trouble. I walked over to the few people talking, and listened in on the conversation. I didn't mind joining in, as they all seemed to intimidate me, despite me seeing over their heads slightly. Suddenly, Aqua grasped onto my arm, squealing. "Soul is trying to eat meeee!" she whined in a childish tone, making me laugh softly. "He can't eat you." I muttered softly and reassuringly, before Soul grabbed onto my other arm and started biting my neck playfully. "Rawr!!"

I stared at the girl, and her speech, and felt my heart sink suddenly. Soul seemed to try and not care, but I knew he kept crying whenever he thought of his parent. My arm wrapped around him, but he pulled away and then he cleared his throat. "Shouldn't we.. Get a move on?" Soul grunted, glaring at the girls. "I don't wanna die here. It'll just waste what potential we all have." He did have a point, but I didn't care. He just seemed to sour.
