"I'm telling you guys, it's fortunate that the rain isn't infected by the apocalpyse, imagine the pores spreading airborne or in the water source." Len says, stretching his body to look up a shelf. He grabbed a can of sardines with his mouth and place it in the box which had been unstrapped from his body. It's full of other canned food and non-perishable food, everything is sorted neatly so it won't be damaged if there were bumps or such. He walked over to another kitchen shelf with a lock. "That's curious." He whispered. The lock is slightly damaged over the past few months but it hasn't been opened in a long time.
"No kidding. Good thing you don't bathe." Sugar jokes. It notices Len looking at an old lock and could tell he wanted to see what was kept hidden. Sugar obnoxiously transforms into Scolipede and both violently and over dramatically breaks the lock that only needed a little nudging or even a key that could probably be found just feet away from them. "My lady." Sugar bowed towards Len and the kitchen self, inviting Len to see what was inside.
After a good while, he put the fried beans, sausage, bacon and eggs on a table in the living room. He walked up the stairs to look for Jason and quietly shouted his name, hoping not to attract any of the zombs.
[ I'm pissed because my phonne resets when I wrote this thing which took 30 minutes so I'm sorry for short reply qoq ]
"Len! There is a horde of zombies not 1 kilometre away from here!" Jason shouted while running downstairs. He was in such a hurry that he couldn't detect the smell of the delicious cooked food or the splashing of rain on the roof or the fact that he didn't see the next stair. He missed a step and plummeted down to the living room. He came to a stop and instantly got up. He told Len, "We have to be ready."
Jason listened to Len's advice and went rushing towards the front door. He locked it firmly, and put a cabinet and loads of small stools on the front door to make it more resistant to zombies opening it. He told Len, "Len! The front door is as secure as it can be, I'm going to the kitchen." In the kitchen, he saw a crow sitting on the pedestal. He snapped at it and it flew away. He closed the kitchen windows and pulled the curtains. "All ready!" He shouted back to Len.
Len hurried back to the living room and catched his breath. "That was hectic. Hopefully everything really is secure now." Len says between gasp. He looked around the house and double checked to see if anything could come past any doors, windows or just anything. "We need to keep quiet while we're at it." Len half-whispered and walked over to the light switch. It suprisingly works but he needs to turn them off now. Flicking it off, Len reaches into one of the cargos and took out a box of candles, lighting them up with a match. It proves to be harder than it looked like but he managed. "And we still haven't ate." Len laughs nervously, laying on the couch.
