Izzy turned her head to Dylan and smiled brightly. "Yes, you're
correct, it's Izzy. It is lovely to see you again, Dylan! I was
just talking with Dimentio about his father!" Turning her head back
to the male, she placed her chin in her hands and her elbows on the
table. "He sounds like a very mysterious man, I wish that I could
meet him! I am very fascinated with these things. Nothing is ever
black and white, you know?"
As Aya heard Dimentio she started chuckling which turned into quiet
laughter. "Most villians, huh" she mumbled under her breath. She
picked a book to read which seemed around 100 pages which is pretty
short for Aya.
Hearing a laugh, Izzy turned her eyes to the female staring at book
titles before turning her head back to Dimentio with a raised brow.
She then called out to the girl. "Excuse me! Miss?" She stood up
and walked up to the female. "You look quite familiar.. Why did you
laugh at him?"
Aya turned to Izzy. "What makes you say I laugh at him? Maybe a
title or an author's name or many other things made me laugh" she
said with a smile. "And I'm Maleficent's daughter, that's where you
probably know me"
Dimentio nodded, "So, have you people had any encounters with
'Mistress Humiliator' as I prefer to call Hanley? I'd like to stand
up to her, sooner or later, she'll know that 'cabbage breath' is
kinda a good name for me... I'd say the following before confonting
her, 'Eat your veggies, kids! Except in this case, the vegatable
eats you!'-- And then we'd duel, like two gleaming banjos on a
moonlit stoop! A brilliant sight indeed! I wonder how black and
blue would look on her?" He asked.
Izzy let out a short chuckle. "It isn't often that someone laughs
at the title or author of a book." She raised a brow and nodded her
head quickly. "Ahh, Maleficent! She is my favorite villain, as
embarrassing as it is to admit. I feel that her story is so black
and white to some people, but I am under the impression it is much
deeper than that. It is an honor to meet her daughter!" Izzy gave a
big smile, a slight blush across her cheeks as she realized how
lame it was to fan out in front of her.
Turning her head bak to Dimentio as he spoke, she let out a loud
laugh. "Well that does appear to be a very good battle speech, I
must admit. I however, have not had the pleasure of meeting her.
Though I am sure if I did, I'd do best to ignore her."
"It's a pleasure meeting you too" Aya said, first surprised
somebody if happy to meet her but happy afterwards, like any other
person would be. "However, I never was too interested in my mother
or her story. I know the basic story but that's about it." she
admits, still keeping a small smile.
Izzy smiled brightly at Aya. "Well if you don't mind... I have read
up on her a lot!" She cleared her throat and pulled Maleficent from
her memory. "Your mother was a queen, and part of the fairy court,
and back in your mothers time, it was considered an outright insult
to invite one part of a fairy court, aka the three fairies who
granted wishes, and not to invite the other. At a gathering like
that, Maleficent would have simply blessed the child with a gift,
same as the other three fairies. It was a neutral ground. However,
the queen and king were so rude that they did not send her an
invite at all, but invited the other fairies, which was a downright
insult to you mother."
Rubbing the back of her head, she tried to sum it up quickly in
embarrassment. "In conclusion, the king and queen enraged her by
the disrespect and betrayal they had shown to her, and that is why
she cursed Aurora."
"Aurora was the child of the kind and queen..." Aya thinks about
the story for a bit. "Let's sit down, I feel like this might take a
while" she sits down to the nearest empty table she finds. Once she
sat down, she simply smiled, waiting to hear the rest of the story.
Izzy looked slightly embarrassed at the attention, but took a seat
as asked. She glanced over at Ama. "Uhh, Yes.. I said Aurora!" She
smiled softly at the two. "Well, I am not 100% sure about all of
this, I was not there, this is just what I read and what I think,
you see?" She folded her hands in front of her. "I think instead of
putting Aurora to death like she could have, some part of her
realized it wasn't this child's fault that her parents disgraced
her like they did, so she gave a chance for the curse to be broken
by true love's kiss. I think that Maleficent was just hurt and
didn't know how to express her anger, and she made that last minute
choice. I am not sure sure that the whole enraged dragon thing
happened just to destroy everything, simply just because...but I
would not know!"
Dimentio continued reading his book. "Dr. Facilier is my father, in
case you were wondering. I've chosen a different lifestyle, but I'm
still gonna be evil."
Izzy smiled reassuringly. "Everyone makes mistakes. It has been
many years since that happened, I do not think anyone would hold
grudges. Especially not if we don't even know her!"
