My name is Moonlight Shimmer, though if you really know me, you call me Luna. I was born many years ago to cruel humans and ran under the light of the moon. After many years I realized I wasnt aging and looked into a pond to see that I had grown a horn and wings. I was confused until the Goddess of the Moon came to speak with me telling me all the good I could do, saving horses with horrible pasts, and creating a herd that travels the world. I did so, but watched as my herd grew old and died around me. I soon found a spell to make them immortal, but if they left the herd, their age would catch up to them. I also learned I could give them wing and horns as well. Only the warriors have horns while the royals have wings. They are my trusted herd mates that have stayed with me from almost the beginning. The rest of the herd is immortal and cannot die unless sickness happens, but that does not happen often.

I have made a rule that Warriors can only be stallions and Royals can only be mares, and they can only be mates with a Royal or Warrior. This way, if a regular herd mate is forced out, they do not have to leave as well.

History~ Luna was born on a farm many years ago. The humans started out nice until she was sold at a young age. Almost too young to be without her mother. The humans who bought her were cruel. They hurt her over and over when she tried doing as they said.

Finally, when she was four years old, she ran away under the cover of the full moon. Many years passed from when she ran, and the MoonSpirit came to see her one night while Luna was traveling, giving her a special gift. The gift of an immortal life. Along with this gift she grew wings and a horn.

Luna was proud to be given this honor and found horses scattered across the land. She created a herd around them, but soon learned they were not immortal like her.

She decided to make those loyal to her immortal. The Warrior stallions became Pegasi while the Royal mares became unicorns.

She allowed the other to become immortal, but when they leave her herd, time catches up to them and they don't last long.

History~ Thunder is still fairly new to the herd, but grew up in the wild. His mother ran away when she was expecting him due to a fire that destroyed their home. Thunder and his mother grew up on their own, but his mother wasn't very young. She passed away leaving Thunder alone. Thunder found Luna's herd and was offered the chance to join. Once the stallion accepted, he never looked back on his old life.

History~ She came to the herd long ago. Her owner died and she didn't have anyone to take care of her. One day it was storming, it was the worst storm she had ever witnessed. The storm made a tree fall and broke the fence. Half starved she ran off into the stormy night. For days she wandered in the heat of the day. Stopping to rest only at night. She faced wild beasts. Finally another human found her, he took her in and was nice, for a while. He started beating her, because she preform as well as his other horses. So one day while the fence was open she ran. She ran as far as she could. He didn't find her again.She had taken shelter in a den, but she didn't know the den was full of wolves who were out for the day, hunting. They came back that night and attacked her. She fought as hard as she could. Until one of the wolves bit her throat. She was slowly losing the energy to slick the other wolves. Then in her last glimpse before she passed out she seen a Calvary of unicorns fighting the wolves

History~ It wasnt long time ago when she worked at farm near desert , it was really hard work but she wasnt alone here , farmers was nice and there was also Stallion named Fullmoon . It dont taked long and soon little Filly was born , her name was Starlight but then something horrible happened . Nobody knows what happened but 2 days after Starlight was born , farmers was killed by thiefs . Sandstorm , Fullmoon and Starlight haved to leave but on theird way they had to cross river and sadly Fullmoon drowned but Starlight and Sandstorm continued on therid way through sandy plains ... Days and night they both wandered , hungry and thirsty until Shimmer and rest of her herd found them .

At 2 years Starligjt would be a regular member. Foals are typically newborn-1 year 6 months.
