The Captain doesn't looked surprised, when suddenly a young woman
appeared on his deck. "Well, good afternoon, young lady!", he said
politely, with a light bow. "What gives us the honor?", he asked,
indicating Rosmarin to stop.
-
Rosmarin stopped, maintaining her concentration, the icy fog still
glimmering around her. She eyed the marine suspiciously.
"Oh, nothing. But you should leave before you get attack, You must
Be captain Septimus, Captain of Golden Sunrise. Wanted for robbery
and murder." Mistianna said as she looked at Rosmarin and the
others.
"Well, it's their fault for bragging, I mean, Who is honestly
stupid enough to challenge a pirate? No security system is good
enough, if you can't close your mouth about it, right Crew?", he
said, earning laughter from the sailors. He turned back to
Mistianna. "And what happened between and my... Brother is
none of your business, even if he was a marine.", he stated
politely.
"But I give you, that you seem to have guts, appearing on my ship
like that!"
-
'Marin grunted. "Cap', I can't hold it much longer.", she huffed.
"Though I wouldn't have anything against your stay, my first mate
is right. You should go now, if you don't want to stay! And the
story, why they chase me for murder... is something I can tell you
on friendly lands some day!", Mo said with a wink, totally ignoring
that he just had been threatened.
-
Rosmarin started counting: "Ten... nine... eight... seven... six...
five..."
"Well, then!", the Captain said, "Maybe we'll meet under more
friendly conditions one day... It's a pity that so many young
marines don't have a clue what kinds of adventures there are, if
you're free from law and boundaries!"
He laughed, as the crackling sound of forming ice echoed through
the ship.
-
"... four... three... two...", Rosmarin counted, glaring at
Mistianna. The crackling sound grew louder, while the whole ship
seemed to start moving.
He's right, before I was taken away from my home, I always dream
about being a pirate. "You may be right, but you'll never
understand them" Mistianna said.
A bright light shone around the ship, blending everyone. Followed
by a loud crack, the ship was gone.
At least, from the outside. Everyone on the ship however, tried to
hold on to something, as the ship sank like a stone into the deep,
surrounded by a huge block of dark Ice.
Frowning, Septimus gave Zack the sign to pull the lever again.
"Guess, I might tell you the stories right now, at least until we
reach Tortuga. You can be my guest for now?", he offered
apologetical, shooting Rosmarin a rebunkingly glance.
-
Rosmarin snorted, ignoring the Captain while managing the sinking
ship. "100 meters 'till we reach the stream, I guess we need at
least 4 hours to reach good ol' Tuga.", she stated coldly, still
glancing at their... "guest".
The ship stopped glowing, making the ocean outside visible.
Septimus nodded contentely, waving the main part of the sailors off
to their usual duty. He waved at Zack, showing him to come down and
left Rosmarin with the guidance of the ship.
"Well, this is the 'Flying Nautilus' of course. I guess, you boss
never told you much about us?", he asked. Looking at her troubled
face, he said calmingly: "Don't worry, we're save here, but I fear
you have to wait until our depart from Tortuga, because our
business there is quite urgent. But hey, this must be a big chance
for a marine!"
-
'Marin guided the ship into the underwater-stream that would bring
them directly into the labyrinth under her favourite Island. "The
Nautilus is an optimized ship, we build many years on it, to make
it perfect for quick escapes and battles.", she stated. After a
short look, she offered her hand, looking Mistianna directly in the
eyes. "My name's Rosmarin, I'm the first mate of the Golden Sunrise
Crew."
"He only told me about your crew not the ship. Nice to meet you,
I'm Mistianna, you can call me anything you want. But why is this a
big chance for me? Since the Captain of this crew is only 28,000
berries bounty on his head." Mistianna said.
"Yes, Capt.?' Zack said as he came up to him.
"Altessia, where is Mistianna?" Admiral Irigen. Septimus
(@ Nath48: The ship dissappeared for everyone else, I highly doubt
that she can dive over 100 meter to follow them xD)
Rosmarin gave her a smug grin. "A marine that hasn't heard of
TORTUGA yet? My My, what should I think about that? I mean...
Tortuga is THE Pirate Island! Only pirates know the way, and not
even every one. It's my favourite Island of all, and we travelled
many oceans, I can tell you!", she explained proudly.
-
"As you know, we need more sailors for our team and since we lost
Karlo to that ColossShark... We might need a Coordinator and a Mech
too. I trust you and Rose with that matter, while I'll go for...
youknowwhat.", Captain Septimus explained.
"I can count on you two?"
"Yes, Capt. But um what about the Marine?" Zack asked as he made
the mental note. "It's not like we can take her with us, but most
of the people are already taken by other pirate crews." Zack said.
The Captain hummed thoughtful. "I don't know yet, it seems the
marines haven't told her much... Neither about pirate matters, nor
about US. I'll change that, maybe.", he said.
After a short pause, he continued: It's a pity, that those
youngsters are still led on like that! I don't want to know, what
they tell them to make us look like only we are the 'bad guys'.
They have no spirit for adventures, I tell you!"
He laughed, walking to his map-holder, examining the old map, his
father gave him.
-
"Since you're stuck here anyways... Shall I show you around? Our
ship surely is different from others, but don't make yourself any
hope that I tell you all its secrets... Only the captain knows.",
Rosmarin offered.
