242 led 913 to the vent and let her hand go softly. She crawled
into the vent carefully, and shimmed through it. She put her feet
on the ground on the other side. She looked back at 913, waiting
for her to come in as well. The girl's shivering took a moment to
cease, but she was happily warm. She smiled at the other girl,
making a beckoning motion with her small hand.
913 crawled in after her,, and ended up falling out of the vent and
onto 242 on the other end. "O-Oh sorry!" She yelped, jumping off
the other girl,, looking rather embarrassed, before lighting up
once she noticed the temperature change.
"Yea, that seems like the only thing we can do right now." 631
replied before quietly mumbling out "If there even are any other
people here." Just a few moments later, he could feel somebody
tapping his shoulder, making him look behind him to see if anybody
was there. News flash, there was. He was surprised to actually see
another human here, especially so quickly! His thoughts flooded
with new statements filled with the hope he might find his way out
of here. He was sort of in a trance of possibilities that could now
possibly come true. He snapped himself out as quickly as he could,
and that was just when the new person introduced themselves as a
number. "689" was that number, and he knew he could remember that,
at least a little bit. He politely waited for the person to finish
before talking
"I'm 631, and I don't remember my name, either!" He responded,
quite happy with the fact he was actually with two people. He
thought they could possibly be a team, and he'd protect them the
best he could.
242 yelped as she hit the ground, sitting up and rubbing the back
of her head lightly. Her face was tinted pink, and she nodded
lightly. She picked herself up, her body shaky. "It's fine." She
said, smiling timidly. Her head was aching a bit, but she ignored
it.
568 watched what happened. That was weird. How did 913 fall out of
the vent like that? He watched them for a moment. "Are you both all
right? Any injuries?" he asked. He was not sure if either had been
hurt during that little scuffle. He just wanted to be sure both
were all right. He liked the warmth of the room. It was normal for
the building to be cold, but he was glad he had found a few places
like this.
"My head hit the ground hard, but I'm fine." 242 answered,
massaging her head. It was bruising, and she winced when her tiny
fingers ran over it. She smiled, but it looked fake.
568 sighed softly. "I see," he said as he got up and walked over to
her. He sat down in front of her. "Here, just in case, at least it
will make the pain go away," he said. He placed his fingers gently
on her forehead. His hand glowed with the same light as before, a
warm light. Soon, it stopped and he pulled his hand away. "That
should do it. It will also prevent bruising." He smiled softly.
The place was mysterious. Five nodded shortly in agreement.
"Yeah, they really need to do something about the lights." He then
said.
His sight followed the wall for a moment before looking back at
Thirteen. There was really nothing much to talk about, since they
didn't know a single thing about themselves, or where they were.
Neither did Five like the silence that built up between them.
Holding hands made him a little uneasy, though it felt good. He
felt like he needed to say something as they walked down the
hall.
"A little creepy..." The murmured silently, just to say something.
They could always describe the lights more specificly right, at
least that was something to talk about. They were now close to the
end of the corridor. Five could se a door at the end of it-
probably the office. Desperate for answeres, he looked at Thirteen
once again as he started to walk a little faster thowards the door.
Thirteen walked with Five down the hall. He heard what he said. It
was a little creepy, he had to admit. Then he noticed the door. He
walked faster as well, more to keep up with five than anything.
Once they reached the door, Thirteen was a little hesitant, but he
slowly opened the door. He looked inside. It was even dim in this
office. "Hello, is there anyone there?" he asked. He did not see
anyone.
