Remi smiled. "I thought not. It's a strange red mist with a very creative name, may I say controlled by someone named Jack. He can control people with it by feeding them red mist or making them inhale or snuff it up. After it's inside, they become Misted and do whatever he wants."

Claire suddenly stood up and stepped out of her house. "No reason to sulk if it won't help..." she ran out of the city.

Remi frowned. "I'm just her friend. I don't want it any other way." She sad on the hard stone chair in the guard tower. "I don't want to hurt her..."

Esme yawned. "Better sleep before sentry duty tonight.." She walked to her house and jumped in bed.

Remi dozed off, leaning on the desk.

Claire just sat on the ground, crying.

Esme slept soundly.
