I would like to suggest that in our notifications, we can delete specific things. Individually, that is. One thing is when you lose an auction. I go through random times in which I bet on many auctions, and at the last moment someone bids on it and wins. I'll admit, I do it too. But my thing is, is that when I really want that Pokemon for specified reasons, for instance I like to breed starters for other members who need/want one, and I allow them to have choices, so I need a breeding pair to speed up the process, I get mad. I'll admit, I curse when it happens, and I get upset with myself for not being fast enough when I see that I lost a bunch of auctions, or even one that I had been bidding on for a few hours. It also clogs up my notifications, which I use in order to interact with other users. I like knowing what others are offering to everyone, and also offer cheap deals. I use copy and paste for the information, since it commonly stays the same, but it gets way down below the others if I have a bunch of notifications that I lost auctions, which make me dislike myself just by themselves. To sum up what I'm trying to say, I'm suggesting that we be able to delete Auction losses from our notifications, because it can be depressing/angering, and it clogs up the notifications page, and makes it hard to see what your friends are saying/asking for/doing for others, and the same with your own stuff. Thank you for reading, and I hope you consider it!

This sounds like an awesome idea, being able to hide notifications from lost or own auctions and successful trades, supported

You do realize you can use the filters on the right side of the notifications page to remove said notifications, right?

@Hatoko We can't remove them permanently. What if you were waiting for a trade notification, and your trade filter was filled with auction notifications? Wouldn't it be helpful to permanently hide them?

There is no need to remove them permanently. If you're waiting for an offer on your trade. Just refresh the notification page and filter using GTS filter.

No support for now - While I do somewhat see how it can be useful I don't think that it's really that needed.

I guess people are misunderstanding it. The point of the suggestion is to STOP clogged up notifications. For eg. I bid, was outbid, and bid again on an auction. And I won it. That would mean upto 4 or something notifications on my feed. And those feeds would stare at me on the face for the remainder of the whole day.

I would like it better if they automatically disappear, or I could hide them.

@PkmnTrainerV, YES! THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I MEAN! *sighs in relief* I didn't think anyone would get it, because I word things weirdly and over-complicate things. Thanks for the support!

My friends do a lot of spam feeds and I would like to delete them from clogging up my notifs.

Definitely support, and for a good reason also involving auctions. I tend to bid on auctions of pokedex entries I am missing, and hose auctions can be ending in 18 hours or even more. I bid so early so I can remember the auction, and have it in my history of auctions I've bid on. However, when I get outbid, sometimes I'll immediately outbid, and start a bid war. The issue with the notifications not going away, is I will check the same auction 15+ times, even though I have never been outbid, I am simply clicking the old notification. You might think me silly for checking the same auction 20-30 times, but I have very poor memory, and short term memory loss due to malnutrition and other issues. I also have completely missed out on re-outbidding someone because I thought the most recent outbid notification was an old one. It's extremely irritating knowing I'm losing an auction because of notification spam. It would make sense for only the most recent auction notification to display. Similar to how thread notifications disappear when you click them, auction ones could do something similar. Anything's possible while keeping in mind some notifications already do what the OP outlined.

(Sorry for any typos, I'm on my laptop and the keyboard is terrible; not recognizing keystrokes.)
I am looking to trade most things I have for Pokefarm Q stuff!
This thread will have more info.
