"Uh.. sure"Kya said as he closed the kitchen's door
and draw his attention back to Cell "Where are we going to get all those sheets?"
They sure could go all around the mansion, but it would take too
long, anyway they had no idea how big the fall was, and Watt wasn't
really usefull...
"I thought I said bedsheets?" Cell rolled his eyes.
Did he have to do everything around here? "There's plenty of 'em
upstairs in our rooms. Heck, I think the floor's comfortable enough
to sleep on."
'Cause. Y'know. Fancy-schmancy mansion and all that. Eating off the
carpet-floors, however, did not appeal to him.
"Unless you've got a better idea for what we can use to make our
own ladder. I'm headin' up." Up he went, there were rooms upon
rooms for the guests. There's got to be more than enough sheets to
use.
"Still tough, you think they really have enough bedrooms to provide
enough bedsheets to use? The last time I've checked the doors,
quite a few of the are still locked." He sighed, and walked around,
they obviously didn't like the "master", if they did then they
would be a bit more…eager to show it to him…eh what's the worst
that can happen? "I'm going to see if anyone else in this mansion
knows how to read this thing." He said, going to the parlor hoping
that someone was there
Cell turned his head back to answer Nappy: "Then we'll solve
the doors like how we found the key for the treasure chest."
Breaking things open, what didn't it solve?
Continuing on his way to the second floor, he started by using his
own bedsheets. Twisting them and trying to tie tight knots between
the fabric. Whatever it was, it was strong enough on its own (maybe
silk?) and he had trouble ripping the large sheets in half. Well no
matter. They won't be able to say he didn't try, and he huffed.
The Master was in the parlour, though he appeared to be staring
at a chess board. He also appeared to be mumbling to himself, if
the steady stream of bubbles in his tank coming from his mouth
meant anything. He hadn't noticed the Druddigon entering his study,
so intently was his attention on the board.
Down in the pit, the Persian was tempted to lift her head up.
Certain that her newest hallucination would disappear soon enough.
That was the thing with these things, and seeing things that
weren't there: you start thinking everything was real if you
weren't careful.
And by Arceus did she hope the Rotom was imaginary. Better to
designate him as such really.
Kya followed Cell upstairs, they stopped on an open room, it
probably was the Lucario's room, or at least the room he woke up
in. He chuckled as he saw Cell struggling with the bedsheets, Kya
just stood next to the door. "Need any help?"
He walked towards the master, he didn't notice that he still
haven't noticed him…wow that was confusing. Thinking he noticed
him, he stared at the board along with the master for a good fifty
seconds before realizing that he would have greeted him already if
he was noticed. He gave the master a bit of a cough to alert him of
his presence.
His ears flickered at the chuckles, but he was too proud to look
over. "Yeah. Get over here and help." He did his best not to snarl,
but his tone was still rather angry.
"Is something the matter, my dear ha--oh." Once the Kingdra
turned to look, his expression had lost the grin that had started
to form (as much of a grin or smile that a being with a
suction-hole could manage, in any case). "You aren't Yin. Or any of
her kin. What do you want, er, dear traveller...ant?"
He had thought to drop his rhyming, but it was quite the challenge
to rhyme-on-the-spot. Maybe after a few more months and he'll tire
of this 'fun' manner of speaking.
"Ah, did I startle you? I apologize, but do you perhaps know how to
read this tablet?"he said, might as well act a bit "fancy" since it
seems that he was someone to be respectd. He showed him the tablet
that he still kept in his hands, after all there must be a reason
as to why the others don't trust him. He stared a bit more at the
chess board, wondering what he was doing with it.
"Whatever" he said to himself, and walked towards where Cell
was standing. Kya took one side of the sheets, still
snickering ((?)) "Hey, why don't you use one of your spike things to cut the
sheets"
Cell probably wasn't going to like the idea, but hey, it could work
"What? That?" The Kingdra tried to peer over, craning his head
this way and that. "It's a little hard to see, and we are not even
in the...sea."
Why yes, he did think he was being rather clever saying that.
"Maybe you can darken it somehow? I'm sure Yang or Yin will come,
if you howl."
"This 'spike thing' is bone. It's not sharp like a knife."
Cell rolled his eyes, and continued his efforts in ripping
the sheet apart. He was starting to get huffy and red in the face
from the exertion, but he kept at it stubbornly anyway.
((@teius; Say "please" next time. Everyone other than Watt is in
the mansion. Kya and Cell are in the second floor, in Cell's room
specifically. Cell wants to make a rope ladder out of the bedsheets
and he's having trouble with that. Napoleon is in the parlour
trying to get the Master to interpret the tablet he took from a
chest from the Labyrinth.))
((And the Persian thinks Watt is an annoying hallucination inside
her head. Does that answer your question?))
"Ah so you think so too, but I would not want the markings to be
ruined on accident…perhaps the, uhh, miss? Could help find out?" He
couldn't think of what to call the grumpig beside the master at
breakfast. Well if it came to it, perhaps darkening it really is
the answer, he just hopes it's sort of a last resort.
"Hm.. sorry
The Umbreon wasn't really used to being around a lot of pokemon, he
spent most of his time on his room. So he hadn't ever asked
anything like that, he had only talked to one or two Lucarios
before. "I'll try to cut it"Kya tried to cut the sheet with
his claws
"My dear Mistress? Why yes, she can decode and help you, uh,
de-stress!" The sort-of-grin returned, and he bobbed in place
happily. "But I bid thee fair warning! Great and knowledgeable with
her great learning. Alas, her voice has never been heard in the
light of day, and those that have will need to pay."
"Have at it." The Lucario made no motion for moving aside,
or giving K...something, anymore room that was necessary.
Then a thought occurred to him and he dropped the bedsheet. Heading
for the door, he briefly explained: "I'll grab more sheets. Make a
production line or sumthin' like it." They'd get work done faster
that way, he was sure.
ok.. he said, but Cell had already left.. Kya was finally able to cut them, those bedsheets where
harder than they looked. And Cell left. The Umbreon sat on the bed
and waited for the Lucario to come back.
'Will need to pay?' He tough, meh probably just something he added
at the end to finish his rhyming…right? "Thank you for telling me
this, but do you perhaps know where she is?" He asked. He looked at
the chess board again, wondering if he wanted to try and play it,
if it weren't for the fact he was stuck inside a tank
[[@Argentis BBcode fail, forgot to add the slash]]
Returning with a small armload of sheets, he muttered excuses
underneath his breath. Cell assumed that most of the sound
would be caught in his mask, and unceremoniously dumped his
'harvest' onto the ground.
"I thought you said you'd be cutting the sheets?" He gestured to
what K-something had in front of him. Yeesh, this might just take
longer than they'll need...
"She's out where she needs to be, but not where she is likely to
pee." He snickered, who didn't like a bit of toilet-humour to
let-up on the heavy-seriousness of being trapped potentially
forever inside his estate? It was hard to laugh otherwise. "Is
there anything else you wanted to ask, perhaps some performed
task?"
"I was cutting the bedsheets"Kya hissed.
You do your work I'll do mine, things have always worked that way,
then they joined everything. Perfect team work. "Just come here and hold them "
Welp…that was almost useless, he frowned at the toilet joke, is
this guy really that immature? he thought he was better than that,
well at least he knows that she's not in the toilets anywhere.
"Nothing really, I thank you for your time" he said…now where to
go? He gave a bit of thought before taking his leave into the
library, who knows? Maybe she like reading.
Watt was flying around Persian all this time. Noticing that those
dweebs werent coming, Watt decided to unplug the furniture again "I
WILL BE RIGHT BACK!" he yells, and goes allll the way back to the
start. Now he just had to search in every-single-room. Since they
most likely wouldt be on the first floor, Watt flied to the second
floor and started to open random doors of the rooms, causing some
slams.
