why do i feel worthless lately? what's the point?
i've been trying to get these depressing thoughts out of my mind by venting through art, but it's just not working. it's getting harder and harder to put a fake smile on my face for my family.
i'm known as daddy's lil' 'girl', because i constantly hang around my father, clinging to him, pretty much. the annoying little 'girl' who loves jokes and video games, but has a 'secret' nerdy side, who loves science.
i don't like it. at all. i wanna change.
earlier today, my dad told me that i can tell him anything. that he won't judge me, for whatever i say, and that he loves me.
it took all i had in me not to bawl on the spot.
i always think someone is always going to judge me for what i do, no matter what. i'm scared. i'm anxious. i'm paranoid. i don't wanna do this.
my sister, who i consider my best friend, helps me.
she puts a genuine smile on my face everyday with her silliness. god, she's the best.
heh. i suppose this idiot should sleep, huh? nah.
on a different note, my other sister called me an idiot. or, as she likes to put it; "i didn't know moron meant idiot!"
i'm so sorry, i know this is public, and you guys don't need to hear this stupid vent/rant, but hell, i need to get this off my chest so bad.
i was fuming at her. i mean, i know i'm not the smartest, but god, you don't have to make me hate myself more!
i'm so tired of getting insulted by her. she can be such a...jerk sometimes.
sometimes i defend myself. i step up, and yell at her.
sometimes, which is usually the option i choose, i just take it while silently suffering. that's just what i do. i'm w e a k. i can't protect myself.
i need to go cry, or something. stupid emotions, huh? just one of the perks of being a human...

dear diary,
i feel thrilled today.
nothing can wipe this giddy, stupid smile off of my face.
for the first time in years, my mother got up and played Through the Eyes of Love on the piano.
she used to play it for my siblings and i when we were young.
and...it always calms me down, grounds me, wraps in a 'protective blanket', so to speak.
just...i'm happy, for the first time in quite a while.
oh look what i saw today--
