once it was their turn in line, they said their orders and waited for a few minutes at a nearby table til their order was ready.
jeff: "i'm actually kind of excited to start my classes."
hope popped a stick of spearmint gum into her mouth. she blew bubbles with the gum as everyone talked.
mark: "should we practice for debate club?"
sienna: "sure! lets start with a simple topic, like-"
zero: "let's debate about pizza toppings."
mark: "ok. who here agrees that spicy pizza topings are the most legit toppings?"
hope: "i don't."
sienna: "me neither."
jeff: "not a fan." he said, shaking his head kind of slowly. "i prefer mild topings."
zero: "really? pssshhhhh.......you're an ametur."
zero hesitated. they all stared at him blankly. he felt awkward.
zero: "ok, fine.........i'm not obsessed with spicy toppings.............i like cheese pizza, too."
mark: "look who's the ametur now."
zero: "shut up. mark, you're weird because you don't like donuts."
somehow, strangely, everyone heard this and stopped talking. they all felt awkward.
mark: "lets get our pizza and get out. this is awkward."
their pizzas were ready a few seconds later, and they took the pizzas, payed for them, and went back outside to their skateboards.

To.be honest, i didn't expect you to say yes, being my history teacher and all, but i am really glad you did, i find you very attractive and smart, and amazing

While everyone was eating lunch, the power went out through the entire school. the cafeteria was pitch black.
hope stood up.
hope: "it's ok people, the power should come back on soon.....but for now........just continue with our lives." she said to everyone.
everyone was silent for a moment, then they started quickly talking again. hope sat back down.
sienna: "what if the power stays out?"
tyler: "trust me, they'll fix it at some point."
jeff: "think about this. it's kind of easy to fix the power in a home. but think about this, too........this i a whole. freaking. college. campus. yes, it'll take a while."
zero: "hopefully there are other pokemon that can light up the room with their phones or something."
mark: "the pokemon that are fire, electric, psychic and fairy types can illuminate the room."
(don't make someone fix the power right away, please.)
