Hi all, I'm Brad.

I'm a 19 year old college student studying Accounting with a concentration in Management Information Systems. I live in the united states in New England. I'm a long distance runner with my highest mileage being 18 at one time on my 18th birthday (yes it was a very fun way to celebrate). I came upon this game from a facebook add while on spring break and decided to start playing. I love the game and play many hours every day.

The ultimate question I face: Am I playing to collect shinies and pokemon or try and make a strong battle team?

the answer: for now, just collecting shiny and mega shiny because the battling isn't very in-depth and there aren't any tournaments or anything

Today, I started trying to hunt auction house more and more for pokemon that I do not have.. I really want to complete the dex's so that I can stop worrying about getting them all (I'm not sure why I do). I think it has something to do with how good profile's look with all those icons.

I did not hatch any shiny gastly today which was quite the shame.. i'm really starting to doubt this whole shiny mega hunt... It seems like it could be too much for me to handle since I don't have any gems to just spawn the eggs. Having to wait for daycare is a pain, especially since there are almost never gastly eggs in tall grass.
