The Oddish felt...odd. Ask didn't know what it was. He opened his eyes and hugged his new Oddish friend.
I mostly go on Smogon and Twitter nowadays.

Her box was quite large because inside sat a torkoal blowing steam.
The prof handed Gold a box next.
"Open it."
And so he did and inside sat...a stubby bagon.
(All pokemon are level 5.)

Ask was quiet. He wanted to ask for a battle (hue) but knew he would lose. Bagon could know ember and resisted his attacks, and Torkoal's...Torkoal.

Oddish was hyper, though. She ran around the room, knocking over various books and supplies. (If i'm allowed to mod oddish)
I mostly go on Smogon and Twitter nowadays.

The prof handed Alexis a box.
Inside it sat... a small nincada just being a nincada.
(You may select genders. Every route you get one randomized mon, you get to choose if you catch it or not.)
(And yes you may mod your mons.)

The bagon clinged to the back of his neck.
"Heavy....." Gold blurted out getting used to his new pal.
"Well guys, shall we head to the next route? It's not too far and if one of our mons pull the cart we'll be there real quick!"

Oddish was excited she could get out of the box. She jumped up onto Gold's head and began riding him around.

He jumped into the cart and waited.

Ask thought through many names for Oddish, most of which he shot down, until he thought of one name.

"Oh great Oddish, I dub thee as 'Cabbage!'" Ask poked the top of Oddish's head with a nearby stick.
