Fubuki looked over towards Neil. "Oh. Its you..." She said. "So Mr.
'Independant' needs help huh? What did ya do. Kill someone so we
need to cover for you or something?" She said angrily. She really
did not like this guy. He just reminded her of those guys who cried
like children when someone else killed a monster that they say 'was
theirs'.
Neil sighed "Yes, I understand you may hate me, and I'll be honest,
I was being pretty stupid, but me and another player I found, I
think his tag said "Ricky", need players that can fly to get an
advantage on the next boss and I remember you and Draco had skills
that allowed you to do that." Neil explained "I don't think we'll
be able to handle it without you. Especially since the boss is some
sort of spider and Ricky has Arachnophobia."
Fubuki rolled her eyes. "Taking on a boss with four people could
end up badly." She said. "Plus, there are others with a flying
skill so why talk to the people who you think hate you? I mean I
could of ended up killing you." She said.
Neil sighs "As inviting as that sounds, we pretty much took down
the last boss with only THREE players, but you may be right,
however, no one's going to trust an Assassin and a thief." Neil
explains
"Oh wow an assassin. Yeah thanks that's real assuring. I don't
know, I might help." She said shrugging. "And I know, most people
at the boss raid were idiots. Not to be offensive to them. They
just shouldn't of stayed where they could get shot." She said.
"You could always ask mr. oblivious over there." She said and
pointed at Draco. She was kind of surprised that he didn't hear the
conversation. He probably just was ignoring or wasn't investing in
hearing stats.
Fubuki sighs. "They are dead. D, E, A, D. If your hp reached 0 your
dead. If someone else's reaches 0 they die. If anyone reaches 0
they can't go back to real life or respawn here." She said.
Neil is startled "Wh-what! If you die in the game, you die in real
life!" Neil pauses terrified than smirked "Well, that just means
one of us can be the hero like Kirito was in the first SAO." Neil
smiles "And I'd like to have a title like that!" Neil sighs "But no
one's gonna be able to make it alone..."
Fubuki shrugged. "I'm just playing the game. Real life never suited
me. I mean I could die in real life. This is no different." She
said. "I mean wouldn't we all want to be kirito but we aren't
exactly. 'Heroes' you could say." She said.
Neil nods "Yeah, I mean, all in all, it's a good game, and I don't
exactly have anything to go back to either, but I'm a
completionist, even in MMOs where it's a bit stupid." Neil laughs
Fubuki nodded too. "Well of course I don't want to die, I mean I am
also a completionist myself." She said. She really only had
videogames to come back too. That and some fans but they could live
on without her. She wasn't inspirational. She just played games,
and somehow had gotten fans for it. "Most MMOs have bad stories.
Those always have bad stories but a lot of people love them for
bosses and graphics basically." She said.
Neil nods in agreement "I was pretty popular in GGO, but I'm not
sure would notice I'm gone, but yeah, we can't just die. Which is
another reason we should all team up." Neil explains "Perhaps we
can find a guild to work with though." Neil thinks
Fubuki shrugged. "I was a pretty popular gamer myself, but people
wouldn't miss me. I want to survive though cause since when has
dieing been fun. Especially through something I'm good at. My death
would disappoint me if that happened." She said. She was just
trying to joke around to hide her actual feelings. She took this
game very seriously, if she made one slip up her life was over. She
wouldn't get back home. She'd just disappear. She refused to
disappear. 'I can't let someone read me like a book, my true
feelings must stay hidden. Everything must stay hidden.' she
thought.
Neil smiles "I'm sure we'll all survive, but we can't just sit
around waiting for people to do the job for us. If I'm going down,
I'm going down fighting, but I don't want that to be on the first
few floors..." Neil explains
"Yeah if I died on the first floors I'd be so disappointed in
myself that I'd end up haunting my past self." She said. If she
died on the first floors it would just simply be pathetic. If she
was going to die here it would be in style. Maybe taking on a boss
by herself, or the last floor.
Neil nods "So where's your buddy, Draco?" Neil looks around and
sees him grinding on some mobs "Oh, well, we may need all the
strength we can get." Neil states
