[Trainer || Open] Pokémon Darkness Rising
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Pokémon RP → [Trainer || Open] Pokémon Darkness Rising"Absol~" Aura said, seeming to laugh a little.
"Oh hush," Ahnieru replied, though he patted his Absol's back, not too bothered by what the canine had said. It seemed like it was a joking tone, though, from both of them.
After taking several steps, Ahnieru turned to look back at Satomi and her team.
"You coming?" he asked with a tilt of his head. She did say she wanted to tell the others about the danger, didn't she? So why wasn't she following already?
Kyron laughed and electricity flickered through his fur.
"Manectric," he stated simply, then looked after his trainer.
Kairu caught up to Jolt and picked him up, then turned around to see that Kyron was no longer with her. She backtracked her steps until she saw him still with the other trainer.
"What's up?" she asked as she put Jolt back down.
"Manectric... Manectric Tric Manectric," he said as he looked to his trainer.
"Oh, right, the storm..." she turned her attention back to the other person.
"You might want to gather up your pokémon and find some proper shelter. There's a storm coming, and my Pokémon think it's going to be a pretty bad one," she explained.
Ru gave a nod and stayed in spot until Satomi caught up with him.
"Morning," he said to the Riolu when he barked in surprise.
"Absol," Aura said looking back at Ahnieru and Satomi, wanting them to pick up the pace.
"Right," Ahnieru replied to his Absol, then started walking again.
"He just told us that we should hurry it up or we might get there in the midst of the storm," he translated for her.
"The nearest town isn't that close?" Kairu asked, a little confused by that. Wasn't it just a little further in the direction she had been heading? It was the last time she checked, though things didn't exactly seem to line up anymore.
Ahnieru
After about ten minutes, Aura suddenly stopped, causing Ahnieru to stop as well.
"What is it?" he asked the Absol, who turned around with a soft jingling of his bells.
"Sooool," the canine replied, to which Ahnieru turned to look as well.
"Right..." the human mumbled, running his hand through his long silver hair.
"It looks like I'm getting called to work on something. If you hurry to town, you should still be able to warn them," Ru explained, then began to walk away from the path the were on. Sometimes he hated his job.
Kairu
Getting no reply from the other human, Kairu gave a sigh. This is why she hated humans, sometimes they replied sometimes they didn't and usually they weren't helpful.
After waiting for a few more moments, she turned away from him and ran towards where she thought the town was.
Kyron gave a huff, then picked up Jolt and ran after his human. He didn't need the Shinx running off too far ahead again.
After about half an hour, they arrived in the town that Kairu had remembered. She was panting heavily, trying hard to catch her breath.
Kyron put Jolt down, then both electric types looked to the skies as there was a low rumble. The bad storm would be striking any moment, and they needed to make sure everyone was in decent shelter before things got really bad.
Ahnieru
Once Ru was away from Satomi, he grabbed Aura's red leash that matched the red collar the Absol always wore. He clipped it on, then looked around. He found what he was looking for, as it was just a small piece of wood that he could use as a board, since he didn't want to wind up getting dragged along without something to cut down on his friction.
He stepped on the piece of wood, his feet barely fitting on it.
"Okay, Aura, let's head back to the base," he said, giving another sigh, hating his job. At the okay, the Absol lunged forward, using Quick Attack to boost his speed as he took off, pulling Ahnieru behind him with the leash. The human was a little annoying from time to time, since he was unable to keep up when it came to skills like running or climbing or even jumping. That's where the collar and leash were really useful, as it let him bring his almost-brother along with him without having to keep to the slower human's pace.
Kairu
Kairu began talking to the people in the town, getting a few of them to take shelter, but most of them just ignored her.
"Fine, then, just get struck by lightening," she mumbled as one person turned their back on her and called her crazy. As if that was a cue, there was a loud CRACKABOOM! as lightening struck a building on the outskirts of town. The lingering electricity flickered around for a moment before being drawn to the Manectric.
"Lightening Rod," Kairu said with a smile, as it protected from the discharge from electrical strikes, for the most part. Every now and then it wasn't overly effective, as it couldn't stop a natural lightening strike, but it could attract the aftermath of it.
After taking that moment to be thankful for her friend, she took off in a run towards the now burning building. How is it that lightening could cause fires when rain was usually around? She wasn't sure about that, but it didn't seem like it mattered as there was no rain falling, just yet, but it looked like it should start soon.
When Satomi heard the loud lightning boom she looked over and saw a fire on one of the houses. With a quick rush she call Jiraiya and told him to use Water Pulse to stop the fire while Sasha used Protect to keep either Satomi, Jiraiya, or himself protection from anything that might fall on them.
Kairu
Kyron got to the burning building before Jolt or Kairu. He knew that they would be here soon, but soon wasn't soon enough to help if there was anything inside. He burst into the building through a window, then winced when there was the sound of something falling behind him. He shook out his blue mane and glanced back to see that his path was indeed blocked. Giving a sigh, he jumped forward and tried to navigate through the building, the heat from the flames uncomfortable and the falling debris risking hitting him.
"Tric!" he called out, trying to hear for any replies through the crinkle of the flames. He heard the sound of something, but couldn't make it out very well. He bounded around, finally finding the source of the sound. There was a young Eevee trapped by a piece of burning wood in one of the rooms. The canine made his way quickly to the young pokémon and tried to get the piece of wood off without hurting the fox. He gave a low growl, then charged electricity around his fangs before releasing a Thunder Fang to shatter the wood.
The young Eevee was cut, but it was nothing too serious. The Canine moved over the Eevee and crouched down, as the entrance to the room was sealed off by the fire.
"Just hang on. I'll keep you safe until help arrives" he said to the scared child, trying to keep the Eevee from panicking worse than it already was.
Kairu finally caught up with the burning building, stopping when she saw another trainer standing there. There were two pokémon she had never seen before working on stopping the fire. The blue one using what appeared to be water pulse, the canine using protect from time to time to shelter the other trainer and her team.
"Jolt, help them with Night Slash to try and drag the flames away," she ordered the Shinx, then ran up to the other female.
"Have you seen a Manectric around here? He has his yellow and blue parts swapped around," she explained, not knowing that Sasha was the same thing, since she hadn't seen Furfrou before.
The Furfrou nodded and went to the entrance and started to use Headbutt and Sucker Punch to make the opening while he went inside and continued to use Protect and went looking for the Pokemon. Soon he found it and bark at it to get it's attention. He saw the Eevee and grew worried for the pup but continued to bark and motion that the needed to get out of here.
"V-vee," it mumbled, moving its paw and wincing a little.
Kyron rolled his head, then picked the young Pokémon up, not able to worry about its pain for now. He flickered electricity through his fur, then walked over to the other canine, pausing as he waited for it to lead the way out, since clearly there was a new way through the building.
"He's pretty hardy, so should be okay," Kairu said to the other trainer, then went over to her Shinx.
"Take a break, you're wearing yourself out already," she said to the feline, then looked at the Greninja.
"Are you holding up well?" she asked him, a bit concerned for the ones working hard to get the fire put out.
Meanwhile Jiraiya kept using his Water Pulse until he heard the other trainer ask if he was alright. He glance at her and nodded to show he was fine and with a final Water Pulse the fire was down and he saw Sasha and the Manectric coming out of the building though the Manectric seems to have a pup in his mouth. He pointed to them to the trainer before he went over there himself to check on Sasha.
Kairu took the Eevee from Kyron's mouth and gently held it while it cried out.
"Shhhh..." she tried to soothe it, able to see it had a hurt paw.
"Easy, we won't hurt you," she said in a sweet tone to try and calm it down while Kyron lay beside her legs.
"Thanks," the Manectric barked at the other canine, having appreciated the help he had received in getting out of the building. He hadn't heard anything else within, so was fairly sure there was nobody else inside.
Kairu stepped away from the mostly burned building and sat down to try and get the Eevee to relax some.
"Hey, do you have anything to eat?" she asked the other trainer, wanting to offer food to the Eevee, but not having any on her.
((Redd has sent in an application and has been accepted into the RP :3))
Not remembering why she was there, she decided to enjoy the peaceful moment. She leaned back against the trunk and closed her eyes, listing to the rustle of leaves. Rylie smiled, nothing like that feeling of owning the world.
Bell sighed. "At least I don't think it is. I've never really been out that way." he whispered to himself. He slumped back by the tree, eventually falling into a snooze.
She looked over the injuries the little Pokémon had and gave a smile at seeing that none of them were that bad, though its leg was burned which would make it hard for him to walk.
"Thank you," she said to the other trainer, grateful for the little pokéfood for the Eevee.
Jolt stared at the Eevee, giving a growl at the newcomer taking up his trainer's lap. She was his and he didn't really want to share.
Kyron looked up and gave a growl to Jolt, telling the other electric type to calm down. The Eevee was too young to be on its own, and it wasn't like this was anything new for their trainer to do. After all, she'd never walk away from a Pokémon in need, though humans were a different story for her.
The Shinx gave a sigh, one last growl, then curled up with a huff. He hated that the reversed Manectric was right.
"Before I forget, thanks for saving Kyron. It looks like he got a few scrapes, but it practically unharmed. I'm sure that's thanks to your.. erm... The black furred one," Kairu said as the Eevee started to fall asleep in her lap. She didn't know what to call the pokémon with the other trainer.
