And Toriel hung up.. Again.

Liecht wailed and fell down to the ground.

"WE LIED TO HER! WE LIED TO HER LILLY!" she grabbed Lilly and shook her.

"WE LIED TO HERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!"

"WE LIED TO HER LILLY! JUST IMAGINE WHAT SHE WOULD DO IF SHE FOUND OUT THAT WE DIDN'T STAY!" Liecht started bawling again.

Liecht nodded and was about to take a step forward, when-

"dO bOtH oF yOu ReAlLy HAtE mE tHaT mUcH?" Toriel had one knee on the floor, and was grabbing her chest.

"W-What?! Of course I-I don-"

A child who stood next to Liecht, wearing a pale yellow sweater with one single green stripe in the middle, suddenly grabbed Liecht's hand.

"What?! Let me g-" the child forcefully placed a hand on Liecht's mouth, silencing her.

The child's green-red eyes stared at Liecht, as the words flew out of the child's mouth.

"Yes. We hate you so much that we did this."

Liecht stared in horror as Toriel painfully coughed, before she turned into dust.

Liecht fell her knees, her breathing fast and uneasy.

Lilly continued walking, when she stopped.

" I-I don't hate you!"

But then another child smacked her cheek.

"Yes, we do hate you."

She fell onto the floor, frightened. She curled into a ball and started to cry.

Liecht opened her eyes, her vision cloudy.

Lilly didn't even talk. She just pulled her legs closer to her and made the ball tighter. Her pants began to be soaked with tears.

Liecht's eyes slowly closed, her hope draining away from her.

"Do not lose DETERMINATION!"

Liecht slowly opened her eyes, and was surprised to see a hand reaching out to her.

"Please- do not do the same mistakes I did.."

Liecht only got to see blue and purple before she blacked out.

Hope began to drain from Lilly also.

"Don't lose DETERMINATION!"

Lilly opened her eyes and saw a hand.

"Please, please, please don't do what I did."

Lilly tried to reach for the hand, and only saw a flash of purple and blue as she blacked out.

Liecht's eyes slowly opened, and was surprised to see that there was a tree in the corner of her eyes.

"W-What happened..?" she whispered.

Toriel walked out of her tidy little home, and was surprised to see Lilly and Liecht lying on the floor.

"My children!" she yelled out, and ran to them, concerned.
