You make it your duty to retrieve all the disappearing crests. To return the missing Pokemon to their owners. And unlock the secret power of the crests.

1- No being OP or bunnying or any of
that. (by now you should know the drill. :P)
2- You can only start out with one crest- and it has to evolve twice, not be legendary or mythical or anything, and it cannot be shiny. (shiny crests are platinum instead of gold (for fully evolved pokemon), silver (for middle evolution pokemon) or bronze (basic stage).)
3- Shiny pokemon are RARE. If you catch one, you cannot catch one for the next in-game 6 months. (Note that time in the game passes twice as fast as it does in real life- however, if enough people don't like this mechanic, i can change it and we can just go at our own pace- like in normal RPs.)
4- No shiny legends. At least, not until the After-RP (basically, it's the time after the RP ends when some people want to continue RPing and eventually we branch off to a new plot.)
5- Arceus is strictly off limits even in the After-RP (if there is one). If anybody had one- even a level 1 Arceus- the entire RP would fall apart, seeing as this is mother effing god and some normal kid just snatched it up for himself and 1-destroyed the balance of the universe, 2- made himself the most overpowered roleplayer known to internet-kind, and 3, possibly maybe definitely got himself perma-banned.
6- You cannot start with above-basic-stage or dragon type pokemon. So yeah. :3

Accepted! Oh, and, thanks for the praise. BTW Gabite is a middle evolution and i forgot you can't start with dragon types so you're gonna have a Treecko okay BAAAAAI

History: Emmy had lived in Unova for about half of her life, until her mother somehow landed a job at Sycamore's lab. Upon arriving, she instantly got herself lost. When she was found in Shalour City, she had learned about Mega Evolution, and instantly wanted to become a trainer.

As Amber watched in fear, her Mareep, Sadie, got turned into one of the strange crests she had seen around town instead of Pokemon. As she picked up the fallen crest, she cried and cried. She had had Sadie since she was 2 (and a half)! Clutching the crest in her fist, she ran to her mom's house. "Mom!! Mom!! Sadie got turned into one of those weird amulet-thingies!! Can you please help?! Do you have a potion? A revive? ANYTHING?!" When her mother heard this, she was startled, and accidentally cut her finger. Luckily, it was a very shallow cut. "Amber?! What did you say? R-repeat that now! Please!" Amber repeated. "....maybe this weird souvenir I found can help it..? I know it's a crazy idea, but maybe..."
As her mom handed her the strange souvenir, she slit the crest into it's mouth. Soon, the souvenir started shining. Amber watched closely. The souvenir lifted into the air, and, with a flash of blinding light, turned into a Pokeball. As Amber caught the falling Pokeball, she threw it again. When it opened, Sadie came out. "Mar-e-ep!" Hugging Sadie, Amber burst into tears. "Sadie! Sadie! Your back!"
"....what in the name of Arceus just happened?!" Amber's mom looked down at the super-happy child that was her own. "Well...I guess I'm lucky I took 5 more! I was going to make necklaces for my Pokemon team and give them the necklaces as gifts, but I guess saving the entire Pokemon race is more important! And I've read enough of your books to know that's exactly what you're going to do." Amber looked up at her mom in tears. "Really?!"

the brown headed-girl sat on top of a hay bale in her families barn with a blanket under them. her treecko, Terrim, was laying next to her with a piece of hay sticking out of his mouth (yes, cliche style) while Rena hummed to herself. sUDDENLY a very dramatic and unnecessary flash blinded Rena, and she realized that her pokemon had turned into a...crest?!?

Sure, she had just gotten her first Pokemon. But then, a bright light surrounded her Pokemon.
"E-Ember? Are you okay?"
She knew about the crests. She knew that Pokemon were being transformed...
But she never imagined it would happen to her own.
She cried as the crest fell into her palm.
"E-Ember..."

Lewis woke up that day knowing that something felt wrong. He opened his eyes to see that Leo, his cyndaquil, was nowhere to be seen. "Leo?" Lewis called out, wondering if he had just woken up early. Lewis looked at the clock, and realized it was midday. That's weird. Leo always made sure he was awake by 10 AM, even resorting to small bursts of flame. Lewis looked around, and then saw it. he saw the small scarf that he'd given Leo 5 years ago, on the end of his bed. Underneath the scarf, was a small crest. "No," Lewis said, "Nonononono..."
