Chapter 5: The Jack of Blades.

"Oh, no."

The soldiers suddenly fell dead. Another flying being grabbed Jenny and took her down. In his quiet but menacing voice he said:

"I think she's yours."

Volt screamed:

"Jack of Blades!"

Drainer tried to drain him, however his blast was returned to him, and Drainer died in a second.

(Yeah, Drainer is officially dead.)

Tim backed away terrified and about to cry "N-no...p-please...j-just leave us alone!" Tim said to Jack of Blades. Fire started to form in Tim's hands but he did not notice.

With a clip of his fingers, the whole temple exploded, and the fire in Tim's hands burned him.

Marie ran out of the temple only seconds before it blew up. She raced at Jack, transforming into a lion. "Die!" She hissed, pouncing on him.

(Jack is the main antagonist, aka he will not die now.)

Jack punched her and turned her back into a human.

"I won't have any mercy next time."

He disappeared in a rain of cards. The Baron said:

"You can live with me in my mansion."

Tim yelled in pain from his own fire "Ow!" Tim looks at his hands "But...the last time that fire assisted me...I didn't get hurt. what happened?" Tim asked concerned for his own safety

Tim shakes his head "How can we not be scared? He can turn our abilities against, and we can't do anything to stop it. And even if we don't use our powers, he still looks pretty tough."
