[Oh, yes, hello. I finally showe up to my own RP XD]

Darren waled along the side walk, his breath looking like fog from the cold air around him. He looked down at his side out of instinct for Cherry, then quickly remembered that he had left her in his apartment. People gave him mixed looks as he headed down the the park in search of more "meteor creature", as he had once called them.

Darren arrived at the metal park gates, putting his hand in his pocket to feel something cold and hard. He grabbed it for a sense of security as he passed through the tall arched gate. The ground was scattered with tiny pebbles. "Not eggs, Darren. Eggs are bigger." He thought to himself. Darren suddenly felt his foot be stopped by a large object on the ground. He looked down to see a large, glowing meteor stuck in the ground. "Great..." He mumbled, bending over to yank it from the ground.

As Phantom emerged from the shadows, she saw a human walking through the park. Eager to scare him, she slowly lurked toward the boy. It'd been awhile since she'd interacted with the mortals of earth.

Darren finally yanked the egg from the ground and sighed, carrying it roughly in his arms. He glanced to his side, seeing the river that ran through the park. Walking slowly to the ledge, he shifted the large egg into one hand and grabbed his gun in the other.

Darren heard noises from behind him and gripped his gun tighter, dropping the egg into the freezing water with a splash. He watched the egg sink, and just before it was fully submerged into the water, he shot at it, making it burst into a million pieces in the clear water with an ear piercing bang.
