The following news post was part of our April Fool 2014. Click here to get more information.

PokéHeroes 3D

For the past 5 Months, our creative staff members (including Spriters & Artists) have been working on a fantastic new idea:
PokéHeroes has always been unique with different features - we always try to be different from other adoptables sites, or simply other browsergames in general. And at the end of 2013, we thought about going even further: Being different from the rest of the world wide web.

Developing a fully 3D designed website sounded at first like a crazy and impossible idea - everyone from the Staff saw it as a joke. However, some spriters started to create a few 3D sprites out of boredom - and I must admit, that I was really amazed when I saw, that it looked really a bit three-dimensional. So we started re-thinking this whole project.

It was really hard for everyone to learn how to model 3D Pokémon; it took a lot of time and patience to read so many tutorials; and most of their first approaches failed. But the staff kept trying - and until now they've already created over 200 Pokémon sprites in 3D!

Preview Trailer

In Fall 2014, PokéHeroes 3D will be officially released to the Internet! And you can already apply as a Beta Tester.
Everyone who submits an application receives a special 3D Eevee.

Thanks to our staff for working so hard on this project! I hope you're all going to love this really big project - I'm really addicted to the PokéHeroes 3D page already. It makes interacting with Pokémon much more real. :D

I don't like this. My eyesight is already worse than my mom's and it's very sensitive. I hope we can turn it off, yes?

This will be REALLY cool if you have the needed glasses... and really painful if you don't...
It's optional, right? XD

I hope this isn't a permanent feature, otherwise I feel bad for myself and every other person who suffers adverse reactions to 3D stuff. (I myself get bad headaches using the glasses)

Obviously there will be a "Turn off"-feature :) You can switch back to the layout as it is right now.

I used to get headaches with this stuff. But since my laptop supports 3D movies and games and came with fancy pants electronic 3D glasses that confuse me, no more headaches! :D Just a funny feeling behind the eyes :P

I signed up to be a Beta Tester :D

When the 3d eevee's evolve, do they stay a 3d pokemon? Can you breed them to make more 3d eevee's? This feature looks awesome.

Only... 200 levels left to go...
YAY! Needs Mega stone!

The application says we will also get free 3-D glasses. How does that work, will they be mailed?

@WaningGrimalkin: The 3D Eevee cannot evolve.

@Gothbutter: We're going to contact everyone who is picked as a Beta Tester :) And it needs to be discussed wheter we're going to send the glasses directly to the users or solving this problem on a different way. We're still negotiating with a merchant company that will send us enough 3D glasses on a cheap price.

After donating to this site time and time again I'm more than happy to try and help! Besides, I kind of like 3-D and this seems like a cool feature
