It's limited to animals populating Earth, you can only transform into the first animal that you transform in, and you transform at the worst possible opportunity.

You will gain the ability to warp dimensions
BUT
You discover that all dimensions are going to be destroyed in one day so you and three other people are going to have to go on an inter-dimensional adventure to save everyone but you're just humans with no special powers and you'll be fighting a league of villains from other dimensions, and most of them aren't human and they have powers that could possibly kill you.
And all those who are making suggestions that will make PH safer, I agree with you and thank you.

Hey at least I'm in the Pokemon world!
You will easily catch your most favourite Pokemon,
But,
You will never be able to complete your Pokedex entirely
