The Item Shop description clearly states that it is a normal Retro Mew Egg.

It is just a Retro mew Egg. With a 2% chance of being shiny, just like every other Retro.

No; retro pokémon fall in the 'undiscovered' egg group, which means they can't be bred.

@queenyuna : Uhm.. You can't breed retr0s.. 'coz according to the very first post of this thread, you cannot shiny hunt Retro Pokémon with your PokéRadar and since they are very hard to get, they have a much higher regular shiny chance. :B

So, is the concentration game sticking with retro eggs for prizes forever?
If so, then retro eggs from there are worthless now. (unless obviously, if it's shiny).

Not Likely, but Riako (I think) has stated that he is thinking about mega evolutions for them, because some of them have been born Mega-Able.
