pokeheroes radio show
Forum-Index → Suggestions → pokeheroes radio showthis radio could be clicked on and off, when on it would be a bright radio shaped icon with a music symbol over the left side, it would be outlined in a customization color. When turned off the radio would just be a black greyed out radio icon with no music symbol or color to it.
a settings could be added to choose which music we want to hear, the choices would be between the themes for the different games for example; different town themes like pallet town, celedon city, etc. the bike theme, the cave theme, the elite 4 theme, the battling themes, etc.
at any time to turn the radio on or off you would just click the radio icon in the top right and it would toggle on and off. there would be a 2 second delay between turning the radio on and then the music playing, however when you toggle it off it would make the sound of a radio being switched off and the music would immediately stop.
this could also give the option for a pokeheroes radio station that would offer recorded clips of different news and other interesting things like the projected weather and maybe even hearing about mysterious event sightings, this option would obviously be completely up to Riako since the voice acting would have to be either paid for or enacted by volunteers and be up to him and the moderators to oversee.
Though, I do wonder how well such sound files will work on this site. Except for a few places, using this site involves quickly navigating between pages. I'll admit I don't know web design, but the sound files may not play smoothly or even restart unless one stays on the same page for a while. If that's the case, it's still possible for the radio to play in the background while a user visits another site.
JavaScript allows you to use interactivity without refreshing. Although, I am not SUPER computer smart so I do not know if I would work throughout the entire website.
I also think there should be subtitles because I might be in public with no headphones or something.
At the same time that this would be fun and quite useful at times, people with a hearing disability like me would have some kind of trouble with it while listening to the news, or even not hear it at all. Unless youre suggesting subtitles as well somewhere.
