He didn't say anything about Courtney's parents, but he felt sorry for her. But didn't say it "I haven't heard from my parents, and I don't want to see their faces ever again." he said, hate in his voice.

A few people started to show up to the Party/Ball. Some taking seats or getting a snack from the snack table. Usually more people would come to the party 15-20 minutes after it started. Princes and other people in high ranks would come. Nothing much was happening and the dancing area was being seat up.

Courtney sighed. "I think it's starting. I might go, I guess." Silver bounded over to her and rubbed against her leg. "Alright Silver, let's go," she said to her dog soothingly. She started walking toward the main part of the town to prepare.

Sephtis stood up and watched Courtney leave, then sat back down against the tree and continued to relax, then fell asleep again. He'd probably drop by the party later, besides most of the people there are snotty princes and princesses. They'd probably ignore him, or just whisper behind his back, not like he cared any. He'd probably slap them if they weren't so rich and powerful.

Alleana gnawed on the bread she had stolen, and looked at the main part of town. She looked at her own clothes, and decided to go. She finished her bread, and ran to the main part of town. She got there and saw people give her nasty looks, but she smiled and walked.

Courtney's boots thudded against the ground. Silver's paws made a light 'thump, thump'. Courtney looked over at Silver, who was panting and wagging his tail. "You're so cute when you do that, Silver," Courtney said affectionately to her dog.

Toi grabbed a glass of wine and put somethjng in it. Leaving it at a table and put the bottle of liquid in her pocket. She went off somewhere and hid,waiting to see what will happen. More people have started to come and a few people of royalty. No one had picked up the glass of wine yet.

Courtney talked to a bunch of people in the square, traded, and even got to buy a light blue dress. "Alright Silver, I might leave you and Robin outside of the ballroom. Is that fine?" she asked the dog. He barked in reply, signaling 'yes'. Courtney nodded and found a safe place to change. She shoved the dark clothes into her bag and made her way toward the castle to the ball.

After a while someone had finally picked the glass up. The person started to drink the liquid in the glass, not knowing what was in it. Many people of Lower or Higher Ranks where there. Not much happened at the Ball but no one knew this would happen.

Courtney was let in to the ball, leaving her two pets behind in the woods. Of course, they had sheltered themselves in bushes and such, but that wasn't the point. She was chatting away with a nearby man when she heard a clatter of dishes and someone falling. She looked over to see what had happened.

Screams where heard as the prince of a other country fell. People gathered around wondering what happened while others ran. Toi had gotten out of her hiding spot and was sitting in a chair. She watched with innocent, that could be real or fake. Winter was in her hands, sleeping.

Courtney rushed over. "What happened to him?" she demanded, nearly going into her pack to look for medicine she knew she didn't have. "Did someone poison him or something?" She immediately felt concerned for the prince. Sure, she didn't make friends easily, but she hated the suffering of other people.

Toi switched the bottle of liquid with something, A bottle of medicine. She was about to put it on the table and leave the room. It had fallen and crashed, creating much noise and somehow some of it had gotten on her. Winter had jumped out of her hands and ran off.

Courtney called back after hearing, "I'm following a rabbit-bunny! Come one! Maybe we can catch it!" She waited for Toi while still chasing after Winter. "Here, little bunny! I won't hurt you!" she called to Winter, hoping the rabbit would hop over to her. It was hopeless, but she didn't care.

Winter was pretty fast, but not very good at dodging things. Winter had ran into the wall and now laying in the floor. A few plates and glasses were broken from falling from the tables. "Uh.... I hope Winter is ok...."Toi though as a bit of liquid fell from her hair.

Courtney nodded and walked over to Winter and picked up the rabbit. "I believe this is yours?" she asked, handing Winter over to Toi. "By the way, my name is Courtney, if we ever meet again." She walked off, hoping Silver and Robin had not heard what had happened. What if Silver started barking?
