I stand firmly by my philosophy that nothing can be over-rated. If something gets a lot of attention, it deserves it, whether you or I think so or not. We don't all have to like the same stuff :)

For me, the characters I like are

1. Sans
2. Sans Undyne
3. Sans Napstablook

To be honest, I don't really see why Sans is the most favoured. He's got a really cool character behind him, I loved it when he goes all "YOU'RE DEAD" on the Genocide run when you talk to him at Snowdin Forest, nice twist on a what you thought was a nice character. But other than that, I just... don't see anything else to him. Nothing else makes me like him.
Prepares for a beating I'd think Sans would actually be my least favoured character out of the main group. But that's probably because of how overrated he is, like how I hate Charizard and Mewtwo. I don't know, it's just the huge love for characters like "omg x is so amazing and cool EVERYONE LOVES THEM" is just a big turn off for me.

I've never really cared about what other people like. Charizard is my favorite Pokemon and Sans is my favorite Undertake character, and that has literally nothing to do with what other people think or feel about them, and everthing to do with how I think and feel. I think this because really, if you let yourself dislike or hate something because other people love it, you're just as bad as those who love it only because other people love it. I also think that about people who love things because they're hated. Like it or don't like it for you, not them. But that's just me.

a rampaging, murderous lunatic. Getting ready for another Undyne-like battle only to find that he's just another one-shot was part of why that scene was so touching and sad, especially if you already played through the pacifist route.


Now a Sans fight like that would be cool because that's actually what he does to you, unless you're an Undertale god xD
