Important - Your image should be 650 x 1000 NOT 1000 x 650.
Yes, there is a difference.

Your picture should be higher than it is wider

It should look like this , just 10 times bigger (and filled with pretty colours/images).

If you posted a picture that was 'laying down' it won't be qualified.

Upload it to an image website (that doesn't delete the picture in 30 days), like sta.sh, tinypic.com, ...

I'll put up a step-by-step image tutorial for those who can't figure out to do it... I'll do it with both imgur and sta.sh probably. (because i've had nothing but bad experiences from tinypic, especially concerning url tags to the picture. imgur is just infinitely easier for me. if you want to use tinypic and know how to do it already then that's great, knock yourself out. but i'm not doing a tutorial for it atm.)

edited my signature out of this post because you don't want to see two of my signatures in a row no matter how beautiful it is.

If the text is too small for your eyes: zoom in (keyboard shortcut is "ctr+") or open the image in a new tab that works too i guess.
Also remember that your image size needs to be 650 pixels wide and 1000 pixels tall to fit on the calendar.

Hmmm...I might switch mine to imgur. I've never tried tinypic, but it seems like tinypic has converted most of the files posted here to .jpgs instead of .pngs. Weird!

Yeah, looks like it happened to a few people! Maybe there was a box to check or something that I missed... in any case, I edited my post with the imgur upload which is the correct filetype. :)
